Still can’t believe Mavs got Dirk for him.

That was actually Robert "Tractor" Traylor. Great player out of Michigan. May he rest in peace.

There's also the whole part where Dallas could have just drafted Dirk outright given they were three picks ahead of Milwaukee........

Dallas simply squeezed a few extra assets out of MKE to get their guy.

My mistake, that’s who I was thinking of.

Didn’t the Mavs get Pat Garrity who was then used in the trade for Nash?

Yes. Dirk was never going to be anyone's but Dallas. Milwaukee wanted Traylor and they leveraged that to flip the 19 (Garrity), for Nash. This idea that "Milwaukee traded Dirk to Dallas" isn't accurate on its face as it removes all context from the situation.

Lol. My bad if true. Apparently google can't tell them apart because pictures like that are all over the place if you search "Oliver Miller." And the websites will refer to them as pictures of Miller.

RIP Traylor

Soo .425% shooter one day, .424% shooter the next?

Another failure of FG%. Let's ignore FT attempt rate and pretend like the two scored at the same efficiency.

Not saying Iverson was efficient, but his TS% was nearly 3% higher.

This is not a serious thread. No need to get all upset at "Iverson slander". :D Nobody think Eric Snow was as good an offensive player as AI. It's going to be okay I promise.

Besides enough derailing. This thread is about 2021 NBA MVP Trey Burke.

Lol. I got it was a joke. This just stems from my crusade against the use of FG%. It's my own personal issue that I see this and just can't let it go. (PS: I'm no Iverson fan, just a FG% hater)

Sorry for stealing Trey Burke's shine.

But your soapboxes might be 6'2". This is a Kevin Durant sized one.
