Well, he'll finally get his chance to be the butterfly to Kenny Atkinson's caterpillar. Hope he makes good use of it.

Andre Drummond left a $1K tip on his $164.25 bill at a restaurant on Sunday, per @loisksolomon. The server was speechless.

“I was shaking and had tears of happiness after what he left me. … It’s so amazing to see people displaying acts of kindness in these uncertain times.”

So for anyone who lives / works in the SF area: There's a scheduled march in the Mission starting at 4pm, supposedly lasting until 10pm (curfew is 8pm)

Our CEO is allowing teams to leave at 2 to avoid the situation, but just passing along for anyone else who may work or live in the area, as it will make traffic a nightmare

He is def top 5 of players who will get fat during quarantine.

1. Nikola Jokic (there’s a pic on Twitter where he looks SLIM!)
2. James Harden (he surprised everyone)
3. Luka Doncic
4. Joel Embiid
5. Kyle Lowry

Harder to get fat when you are not drinking and eating crap at clubs.

But a big part of Jokic's game is his girth, backing people down and using his size to hold off opponents for rebounds.

If his weight loss made him more athletic, that's great. But if loss of mass makes it harder for him to get those standing rebounds?

OTOH< maybe his energy and activity level will be sustained throughout the game and over several games.

I hope Jackson comes back as a HC. He did do an excellent job with the Warriors and we will never know if he would have taken us over the top. His style will not be a good initial match for the personalities on the Nets. Best of luck to him.

I do firmly believe Kerr was the better choice for the 5 year run and his attention to detail is phenomenal.

Jackson was "good" in a very limited window. He was good at pushing players to be "better", he relied on his coaches early and got some very good coaches, and he was good talking to the press. However he didn't do much technique coaching, he didn't grind at the job at all, he apparently took credit where it wasn't due him, he played mental games with people and got downright paranoid over time, he wanted to fire anyone with an opinion they wanted to share, they offered him an unlimited budget to hire the best possible coaches and he only wanted coaches who wouldn't have opinions. Jackson was all about Jackson, and unfortunately for him he very clearly demonstrated that for all the other owners in the NBA. After he wasn't brought back he started campaigning for every job out there, and some where the job was not yet available (stabbing the current coach in the back) that earned him even more distrust. There is a very good reason he hasn't coached again, and it's that he hasn't demonstrated that he learned from his mistakes.

I agree his girth made him a handful. Imo his power game opens up everything for him. Remember how Love used to dominate in the paint till LeBron forced him out of the paint and he had to drop 20 pounds?

Harrison Barnes talks about his experience with covid. He recovered okay, no obvious lingering symptoms but his wife had severe symptoms.

He explains the choice he made for the back of his jersey.

PSA to Little Digger

Please be careful betting Dallas now. The loss of Dwight Powell is killing them. They aren’t playing good defense and they are missing his intangibles on both sides of the ball.

Pacers might move on from Nate McMillan. It’s weird because he seems to get teams to a good spot and then they get rid of him. I feel like the Pacers have over achieved the last couple years.

I wonder if he’s just tough to deal with on a daily basis.

I here ya, but it’s only until they start the Playoffs. He won’t sit then, I wouldn’t think.
