I've had little enthusiasm for the re-start for the games are 4000 miles away but regardless
of whether the team makes the playoffs or not, these 8 games give the coaching staff and
team management time to really evaluate the roster's makeup.

I do like the makeup of the team for they are not the 8-9 seed if they had Nurk/Zach.

A lot to like about this. They had some sloppy moments in the 4th, but in the end they had some nice moments and did enough to get the win.

One thing we hadn't seen in a while. Nurk having one of those games where he misses a lot of layups. So glad that didn't come back to haunt us. Such a huge win! :D

Yeah it seems like he sometimes has trouble against smaller defenders. Or at least doesn't dominate them offensively. Hassan seems to have an easier time with that. Fortunately Portland has both

I also wonder if it's easier on players to be in this bubble because they don't have to do any traveling. Like portland's playing a lot of minutes and games in short succession. But they don't have the travel aspect messing with sleep or anything like that.

This was a weird game overall, Westbrook couldn't buy a FT Harden also missed a lot of shots he normally puts down.

BC - the same GLB picture for the 3rd and 4th quarters? Good thing you tossed in a couple extras in the 4th quarter. You damn near cost us the game!

I'm really pissed the normal TNT crew is not working tonight. This group sucks. Who is the main commentator? I cant stand his voice. There is no chemistry or energy or sense of humor.

Nice win! It is so nice to have Nurk and Zach back.

Portland now is deemed to have the best chance to make the playoffs among the Western teams fighting for it at 538:

Portland: 42%
New Orleans: 32%
Memphis: 21%
San Antonio: 2%
Phoenix: 2%
Sacramento: <1%

This is probably been boosted big time by Grizz losing their first 3 games.

Return to Portland Trail Blazers
