In my mind, everyone else lose and we win and we make playoffs lol

The simple way to break it down at this stage (with 3 games remaining):

If the Suns go 3-0, we need Portland to lose one of their last 3 games to surpass them. OR, we need Memphis to lose out. If BOTH lose out, the Suns clinch the 8th seed I believe.

If the Suns go 2-1, we need Portland to lose 2 of their last 3 games. In this scenario, we can no longer pass Memphis.

If Memphis wins one more game, they are assured at least a play-in game. I think one win would assure them the 8th seed actually but could be wrong.
If Portland wins their last 3 games, the Suns can't pass them.

So at this point we still need help.
If Portland loses to Philly tonight, the Suns control their own destiny to the 9th seed.

Awesome breakdown. Don't be surprised if my dumb*** asks again in a day or two.

Also what is this play-in game. I don't fully understand it. I've been kinda out of the NBA loop for the past few months and haven't gotten myself across all the bubble terminology and formats

Last time Richardson had a 30 point game was on Nov 23rd. He's a huge reason 6ers have a shot to win.

If the 9th seed is within four games of 8th seed the play in game comes in effect. Which means the 9th seeded team must win both games against the 8th seed to make the final playoff spot. Kinda wish they made it best out of three but that wasn't the case.

Tobias Harris should stop shooting and just give it back to Josh Richardson.

Portland is so ass. I wish we can just play them straight up for the playoff spot, I think we win by 15+.

They would get swept by the Lakers even if Bron sat out the series.

Thanks mate. Solid summary

so coming 9th at the end of 8 games isn't the end of the road. Assuming we end up 9th and within 4 games, we still have a chance

Portland's going to foul to prevent a game tying shot.

Blazers so lucky man. Denver, clippers, sixers all missing/sitting their stars when they play portland.

Yeah, I feel like Phoenix has a great chance as a 9th seed against Grizz or Blazers but that may not happen. Most would rather watch Suns face Blazers over any combination of Grizz/Blazers, Blazers/Spurs.
