Psyched POR got the job done tonight but my god Dame Lillard is downright scary. Did someone sell their soul to get him so hot? (Zoya I’m looking at you) I mean, is is moving up a few picks worth unleashing this on the world?

The deal I made with the Devil was for the Lakers to lose in the 1st round, whatever it takes, so I don't know what you're on about these picks and ****.

Does anyone know if they bother playing the second play in match if the 8 seed wins the first game?

Maybe this is nuts, but I think they have a legit shot to beat the Lakers if they get in. Laker's guards are trash.

I'm sure they won't, because that would be an unfair burden on the winner.

No Giannis against Memphis. I wonder who else Bud will rest for the game.
I believe in Portland to finish the job, just in case Grizz wins their game against the Bucks.

Surely they rest everyone, like we are.

I'm getting way too deep on this, but... POR gets to see the result of the Griz/Bucks game and the PHO/SAS as well. If they already clinched 8, they should rest everyone as well. Especially CJ with his foot.

EDIT: And by foot, I, of course, meant back.

Memphis has every reason to play and MIL doesn't. Damn. Can we still get this 14th pick without a Memphis loss?

Yep, need Portland to beat BKN, and then win the play-in game.
Can still get 14 if MEM win and POR lose, but MEM lose 2 straight games to the 9 seed (POR, PHO or SAS) in the play-in.

Re: Boston/Memphis/Milwaukee pick watch
Another storyline to watch:
Philly gets OKC's 1st round pick this year, but it's top-20 protected. OKC is currently slotted 22nd, but only a half-game up on 20th. If they can lose out, and get passed by two of IND/UTA/PHI, then PHI loses their only first round pick this year.
So, that's a few more games to keep half an eye on.
Edit:
- IND has the tie-breaker over OKC due to head-to-head record, and OKC can control their own fate here by losing out.
- OKC has the tie-breaker over UTA due to head-to-head record, and absolutely needs UTA to beat SAS tomorrow.
- PHI has the tie-breaker over OKC due to better conference record, but are a game-and-a-half back, so would need to shoot themselves in the foot by winning their last two meaningless games, while OKC loses out.
Simplest path is for OKC to lose out, and UTA to beat SAS tomorrow. Then PHI loses their only FRP.

Re: Boston/Memphis/Milwaukee pick watch
lol, that's over before it even started.
- Philly gives up an 11pt swing in the last 2:39, and fails to even get the ball in on the last possession (which I called in my head before it happened).
- OKC scrubs subsequently sell out at hard as possible for a 22pt 4th quarter comeback, 1pt win, that costs them their FRP.

Re: Boston/Memphis/Milwaukee pick watch
So many non-lottery FRPs changing hands in the upcoming draft. When did all those picks get traded?? And who wants two more? Specifically 27th and 30th.
