I get that people think Portland is a tougher out but I really wanted Phoenix. Chances are Lakers still win against Portland in 6 or less and Portland’s defence probably gets the Lakers offence right for the rest of the playoffs. Portland is probably the best tuneup team for the Lakers going into round 2.

Ya, PHX low key has a pretty complete team. Decent every where, and when Oubre is healthy, they have good wing defense between him and Bridges while having one of the most underrated rim protectors in the game (Ayton). Throw a wing star who can generate offense on top of that in Booker and they woulda put a real scare into the Lakers

Well the Suns should not have waited until the Bubble to start figuring things out.

Who was REALLY the miscast Player on the Raptors? That would be the question.

Lol they both were bad defensive players and were traded for championship cogs. Glad to be rid of low IQ no defense players. As long as Masai is here we won't see any more JVs or Derozans.

Superstar JV and Demar put on a show during this bubble season. We really had 5-6 stars all on one team at one point
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

My challenge to the Vaccine truthers, make a prediction and sig it.
Mine: In 2023, rates of heart attacks & strokes amongst vaccinated people, never infected with COVID will be similar (+-5%) when compared to people of same age in 2018.

Lowry is the only player in the league who doesn't get those 3point foul calls

Seems like an athleticism thing. Nurk moves like a SF and JV I guess always had that big man movement

Remember when the Raptors were where players went to end their careers? Now, they're developing and/or resurrecting players that are good enough to be key pieces on other teams but not quite good enough to be a Raptor.

As much as I want to see JV do well, Portland is a bigger challenge for the Lakers. My disdain for Lebron outweighs my affection for Jonas.

Portland isn't doing anything against the Lakers with this defense, so I'm going for the Griz. Their defense is like if Trae Young was a whole team.
