Would they move that pick to Orlando?

Gordon and Bamba for Wiggins and 2?

I guess it comes down to: who do you need to get to #2 to draft?

I'd be comfortable taking LaMelo or Wiseman there and trading Fultz or Vucevic/Bamba away frankly.

But I don't think Weltman and Hammond are willing to shake it up that much.

Not touching LaMelo with Fultz on this roster. I’d take Obi or Wiseman.

Not saying I want it to happen but does Vuc 15 for 2 Wiggins make more sense for GS? Vuc fits perfectly with that roster while AG is a draymond super lite

You think Minny would give up #1 for AG though? Seems unlikely... Would have been more likely if they were #4 or something.
Can't see them taking Edwards with Beasley and Culver. Plus I think they want to make the playoffs and a rookie wouldn't help.

If we traded Bamba, I wouldn't be opposed to drafting Wiseman.

Why are you reluctant to have fultz and Lamelo
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

At 1 it’s BPA. That’s Edwards no doubt IMO and let him backup DLO Beasley Culver Edwards is solid depth.

It just boils down to what you think of LaMelo Ball.

If you think he's the next Penny Hardaway, or that caliber of player, then you just take him and move on from Fultz.

There's not one guy on this roster who is so good that the Magic shouldn't draft someone they deem to be a great prospect at the same position.

They both need the ball to be threats and are poor shooters. You want more Fultz standing in the corner or LaMelo shooting 25% ?

I'd take Avdija from the top of that bunch.

They also have Okogie. Plus the Warriors get the Twolves 2021 pick, top 3 protected. So they'll be all in to make the playoffs next year. Culver could be available too.

I haven’t looked into these prospects yet so I wasn’t sure but if he can’t shoot might as well just keep fultz. We need a wing scorer who CAN shoot

Minnesota also has the 16 pick. I don't think James Johnson and the 16 is enough for Gordon. Although Johnson is expiring and we could have a bunch of cap space the following year. Then we could draft Lewis and Ramsey.

You only move AG if it’s for a top 5 pick IMO. Unless you’re blowing it up.

My best guess is Minny stays at 1 and takes Edwards. I know this draft isn't seen as that great, but it's not as bad as it was in '13 where you really weren't sure who was going in the top 5. Edwards and Wiseman are at least legit top talents.
I think our best hope is that Minny takes a flyer on Ball or someone else and GS isn't enamored with Wiseman or Edwards. If I'm GS, I'd take Wiseman and not look back. But Vooch is having such a monster playoff, maybe they see him as their missing piece to get back on top and would pull the trigger for a deal centered around Vooch for their pick. As of now, I'm only trading up for Edwards. You dangle anyone and anything outside of JI and Fultz to get there.

I'd trade AG for #17 with Minnesota if it meant we get Poku and kept our pick. I'm 100% committed to the idea of a future of Fultz, Chuma, Isaac, and Poku. That kid is just special

ESPN updated their mock after the draft lottery and we have another projection for Cole Anthony to Orlando.

They claim he could be a strong replacement for DJ or a potential new age running mate to Fultz.

I really didn’t fall in love with what little I saw but I’m willing to convinced otherwise. Someone sell me on Anthony + Fultz?

... I’m much more likely to fall for this if he can be alongside Fultz rather than be just a backup.

They would have to add Culver to pick 17 to get AG. I would bite. Culver, Pick 15 - Cole Anthony, Pick 17 - Poku.
Fultz-Anthony
Chuma-Ross
Culver- Poku
Isaac- Aminu
Vooch-Bamba

i can't sell you what i don't like myself.....it wouldn't be too much different from Fultz/DJ playing together....as long as Fultz is still a sub par 3pt shooter then in clifford's offense he's always going to be the one off the ball....plus Anthony is much better with the ball in his hands....I don't like the fit together

I am hard pressed to believe the Magic can get the No. 1 pick for a package centered around Gordon.

I do think they could get the No. 2 pick if they were willing to take back Wiggins.

I absolutely think they could get 17th pick, but that doesn't feel like enough to move Gordon.

Are there any shooting guards available that would be better than just playing AG at that position? Because I don’t think roster balance justifies a net loss in talent. Even pairing weak shooting perimeter players together can be tolerated with sufficient compensation and in one or more other areas.
Remember when Kobe elbowed Jameer in the chin so hard Jameer was knocked down and sent skidding across the floor?

If the Wolves are set on Edwards and still want to keep Beasley it does seemingly make culver expendable. He was atrocious this year.

The potential 2way player is still there. AG for 17 + Culver seems like a risk they should think about taking, and I am plenty skeptical of Culver.
