Just touched on this in the game thread. So glad Brett is going to be finally gone.

Of course Brett had "a hand" in not resigning Jimmy. There were many other douchebags and morons who also had "a hand" in that decision. We need accountability for them also.

It could be true or it could be leaks from the FO to put the blame on Brown for the terrible season. Hard to know what happened.

Seems like Spoelstra was able to figure it out. He was also capable of getting LeBron, Wade, and Bosh to buy in to sacrificing parts of their games to win a championship. Almost like that's part of the job.

did any of you really not think this already?

LOL it was obvious. Jimmy came in and called brown out for the ridiculously horrible coach he is, and brown wanted no part of it

Heard that Butler also had problems with Tobias Harris.

Not surprised if he didn’t love him as a person. But getting rid of a great two way wing (and closer) because he hurt your feelings and held you accountable just shows Browns ego.

I never doubted that Brett wanted him gone. However, I also think Simmons wanted it too. We know Embiid loved Jimmy. If Simmons did too it's absurd to believe the FO would ignore BOTH of their best players to cater to a coach who was already on the chopping block until the triple doink.

Butler is a total savant. Anyone he has problems with, he ends up being correct lol.

It also said we didnt make Biid and Ben accountable and were treated like stars since day 1 that hurt their development

we knew this.

this is however the FO trying their hardest to save their ass.

If Brett truly made that call, then its up to them to fire him and side with Jimmy.

Its not the get of jail free card they think it is

It doesn't matter now lol, Jimmy is in Miami contending for a chance at a ring and we are faced with a ton of unknown **** ahead of us and the possibility that we may be looking at another rebuild sooner than later.
From the sound of things, nobody has really taken charge with this team. There's no alpha in charge and everyone has catered to Jo and Ben from the get go. Brett has coddled these guys, nobody has been held accountable. It's a **** show for sure. We're a poorly run organization and whenever we do have something good...Like a Barkley, Iverson, Hinkie, or Embiid, they are run out of town eventually. No professionalism to speak of and we are set up to have one HELL of a tumultuous offseason. We should honestly just go back to the drawing board with Ben and Jo...Or...trade one of them (preferably Ben if we're forced to do so). I hate the thought of this, but it's a harsh reality that will soon take it's toll.
