As we start to dig deeper into this draft and people are bringing up players like Kira and Hali, i have to say that despite his weakness in playmaking, cole Anthony is likely gonna be better than both imo. I just dont think a shoot 1st pg is an option for us. But i definitely think hes the better player overall.

He'll be better but he really struggled at UNC. Then again so did Cameron Reddish and he started to finally adjust at the end of the season in the NBA.

He did a bit for sure. Normally when you think UNC you expect a certain level of quality of the team overall. However this UNC squad was particularly devoid of talent. So much so that its hard to know if Cole just realized that or even Roy Williams. And they just decided to have him take way more shots than he normally would. He forced A LOT and it drove his numbers down for sure. But again this was a really bad team.

I agree.
However we have Coby White. They are very similar players. Even if Cole Anthony excels in the NBA, he'd be splitting minutes with Coby White and those 2 would never co-exist or work well playing together. It wouldn't work in Chicago. Cole Anthony needs to play someplace else.

Well one issue with this draft is you don't have teams with multiple 1st Rd Picks. If we were to trade down, it would be something more like a lower pick + protected future 1st for #4.

Bol Bol was acquired by paying $ to pick up another pick. That's all it took. Great move, great upside. Meanwhile Gar/Pax never once bought a pick using straight up $ in 16 drafts total. Pretty pathetic. They did however sell picks for $.

I have a feeling Cole Anthony will be a better NBA player then Hayes. Just way more talented. Just don’t think Anthony would be a good fit on the bulls. But he is one of the most naturaly talented players in this draft. My preference is 1) Ball, 2) Wiseman 3) Topping 4) Haliburton/ Adjiva. 5 Okorro/ Nesmith, 6 Poku/ Kira Lewis jr.

Here is Deni's last big game. 22 Points 10 Rebounds
He struggled in his last 2 games but he is arguably one of the most versatile players in this draft.

I like Deni but I don't see a path where he becomes an all-star. What does he do at an elite level?
Shooting? Definitely not.
Passing? He is more of a secondary initiator than a primary one ala Doncic.
He is a below average athlete at the SF position in the NBA
His defense is actually not bad but I doubt that will be his calling card in the NBA
I'm getting major Dario Saric vibes from him and that is a guy you should be picking in the 10-20 range, not in the top 4.

I mean, it's a crap shoot, but I think it's more likely that when it's all said and done in their careers, Hayes had a better one than Anthony.
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

The thing with Deni for me it's that it doesn't seem that he'll be a primary creator on a very good team.
A 2nd creator? Now, that's more likely.
Primary creators are much harder to find, that's why I'd really, really try to find one with a high pick, even in a weaker draft.

Anthony is more of a pure pg than White so White would be going to the bench.
His game was always 6th man I wont ever drafted based on him. Total non factor.
But anthony has high ceiling as a high end starter/borderline all star reminds me of post acl Drose.
Hes got game.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

His shooting will come along. He isn't an average athlete and it's nearly impossible to engage how good he'll be in the NBA on defense. There is no clear all star talent in this draft.

We're now 66 pages into this draft thread and literally nobody is on the same page on who we should draft.
There is no clear pick at #4 whereas opposed to other drafts, we could have already narrowed down to 3 to 6 prospects already. In this case, we like about 20 prospects.

Yeah I'm not sure what people are using as a measuring stick anymore as far as athleticism. Seems like if a person isn't pulling off Lavine type of dunks, they're labeled below average athlete now. Deni is definitely not anywhere near below average.

Why you are going off of what Gar/Pax and Boylen did is beyond me.

That's not very surprising seeing as how there's no consensus #1 pick in this draft. Not gonna be anywhere near a consensus agreement on #4. This could definitely going to be like the 2013 draft where the player who went #1 was projected as low as #9. Nothing would surprise me here.

I prefer Kira Lewis Jr. over Tyrell Terry.
Tyrell Terry is actually 6'1.5 and 19.9 years old.
Kira Lewis Jr is 6'2.5 and 19.4 years old.
Kira Lewis Jr looks like the better player at the moment and blew up at the end of the season.
With that said, this draft looks deep and I would look to acquire another pick later in the 1st Round if possible.
Wow you might be right about this kid. He's fast, can shoot, good handles, good on ball defender. The kicker is he looks highly-skilled around the basket. Has the Euro-step
