Gordon is now turning 25, any GM that does not feel like getting fired over span of 1 year won't attach much to player that makes almost $20M a year , who in 2020 can't shoot 3s at respectful level, can't really dribble, can't really drive, seems to be uninterested into moving without ball and who refuses to play as small ball screener, rather just runs into contested pullups that he can't make.
Gordon this year took 24% of all shots between 10 feet and 3 point line. He missed almost 70% of shots from that area. Add to that 31% of shots that he took for 3 ( 30,8% efficiency) and you get player that took 54% of shots at alarming 67-70% miss chance.
Gordon's best hope for long career is to go where new coach will cut his crap, put him into Maxi Kleber role, set screens, roll, shoot only when you are wide open, don't even think about attacking off dribble.
How trully terrible Gordon is when he tries to create own shots?
Well i pulled up all nba forwards, set "at least 100 FGA" from pull up jumpshots.
his 28% is second worst among 59 players, only one worst than him is RJ Barret. F**** rookie.
Yet he is in top 30 in shot attemps, with over 200 pull up jumpers taken.

If only Minny didn't won lottery, they were perfect trade partner for pick + James Johnson for Gordon. Now there is zero chance they do that. Same with Hornets...
Maybe Pistons are dumb enough to do 7th pick, Snell and Kennard for Gordon and our pick.
Ideally we dump him for top 5 pick, but i highly doubt anybody would agree on that.
