I’m not high on Simons. I don’t see him becoming an above average starter. I would look elsewhere if we’re looking to trade AG.

I feel like I'll get slammed for this, but I'd do some kind of AG trade for a package that included Trent Jr. and Simons. I don't think we're going to get much for AG and I would take a solid 3 and D guy like Trent and a young guy with potential like Simons. I don't think we'd be able to snag CJ from Portland, and I honestly don't think that I would trade for that CJ contract anyways. He's got a fractured back right now. I know he's playing with it, and it seems like it may not be major, but a player entering his 30s with back problems, and huge contract... I don't know about that.

I would rather hold onto AG if that’s the best we can do (and I’m not saying we can do better). I would love to see what AG could do with a faster pace. Plus, with JI out, he may be able to increase his value even further this upcoming season.

Reminds me of when the bucks traded Tobias Harris for a half season of JJ Redick, only to get swept in the first round of the playoffs... I wonder who the bucks GM was at the time...
