Agreed. If Jay came out with that statement, it means he decided this ownership was not one he wanted to work for. So... Tyronn Lue as the next coach it appears. Are they at least firing the Colangelo holdovers?

He can stay at Nova; beat up on a weak big east; make occasional deep tourney runs and rake in the dough for nice suits for the rest of his days
or he can come here and try to fix this mess while getting blamed for everything regardless for the slight chance at glory.

Does college coach makes a lot more than an NBA coach?
Personally, I wouldnt want Jay Wright. NBA is a different kind of game from college. And we need a coach that will get the respect of our stars.
I’d imagine Jay Wright getting that David Blatt treatment from Bron with Ben and Biid.
