- Celts defense on Siakam reminds me of how they played against Biid.
- Given this kind of defense, teams can always opt to not defend Biid or Ben. This also kind of kills opportunities for drive and draw plays for any guards, including a guy like CP3.
- we should run a lot of inverted ball screen for Ben. Rockets also do the same with Jeff Green. This kind of action really works for bigs like him. This is how we can attack from the perimeter to inside to out, which is the preferred style of offense. This can set-up for a Ben drive, kick out to popping shooter or drop pass to Biid in the paint.

Great point.

Makes you ask yourself.. if Ben jacks it up, will the defense respect him?

Although I can’t stand the Celtics, it’d be an interesting series between them and Miami.

Bucks fans had a couple solid years to be justifiably obnoxious about their obviously flawed team and star player. It's nice to see them get put back in their role as fatalistic mopes, right there with us.

Could be good for us if they fire Bud and we can get him.

Could be bad for us if they get desperate and overpay for Chris Paul or at least bid up his price.

The Sixers should just be so damn embarrassed over this Butler thing. Everyone who had a hand in it should be gone. Unfortunately, it seems like a main hand was the owner, and he's not going anywhere.

Nobody willing to talk about Jimmy Butler? A year later and with the benefit of hindsight, he was so obviously the difference between winning and losing for us (and has completely turned around the fortunes of the Heat). Deflating.

Butler is overrated.

The way people are talking you wouldnt believe that he is actually a 20 ppg scorer in the playoffs on average efficiency. It's just that for the Sixers that have had no guard/wing that could create in the half court and were playing with pgs that cant shoot even that is like an oasis in the desert.

You want another metric?

If they win the series it would be the first time Butler at 31 reaches the conference finals. He doesnt really have the resume that would justify the image he has.

Even this postseason, his best statistically, it is obvious that he has trouble creating for himself. His athleticism, which was never great, is diminished and he generates points mostly by hustle points and drawing fouls.

My thoughts on G1 of Rox vs LAL:
- Austin Rivers could be a good player for us to acquire
- this series is a battle of two theories in basketball. In G1, bullyball has again shown inferior to small ball.
- LeBron should pace it. Let AD take control in the first half, like how Embiid would dominate it. Then LeBron should take over in the second half. Both can’t have empty gas by the second half.
- Lakers should play a better job on defense. Biggest problem they have IMO is their perimeter defense is equipped to defend Clippers and not the Rockets. Would not have been the case if they have Bradley. Their counter for this type of PG-SG match-ups was Caruso and Bradley.
