There are a lot of people blaming the layoff. Every team had to deal with the layoff. We came to Orlando and treated it like the preseason and now we're upset that we weren't ready for the playoffs.

Marvin gave us his final shot. And we did nothing.

His defense is very valuable. A guy who can defend guys like Kyrie and Harden and then switch onto Jimmy Butler is insanely valuable. But they hardly ever switch anyway, and this offense just magnifies his weaknesses and neutralizes his strengths. Unless they can bring him off the bench to stagger his minutes with Giannis, it's time to sell while they hopefully still can.

huh? 50 win taIent needs to be tweaked not dismantIed. biggest issue with this team remains the coach and the fIawed superstar.... not the cast.... of course we can taIk about the cast if youre Iike me and you want to tweak the cast to take the baII OUT of the stars hands this time year. we wiII Iose year after year after year if our haIf court initiaitor in the Piayoffs is NOT a shot maker, can NOT hit a 3< and doesnt hit his fts. im not even sIightIy confused what our probIem is. we sucked at pIayoff basketbaII and the coach that went with it untiI Iiteraiiy the moment giannis went down. its a concern and it needs to be addressed

My #1 thing on my wishlist is a primary ball handler so Giannis isn’t always the one initiating, especially in the half court. He can still attack on fast breaks but when it’s not there we desperately need someone to get the offense initiated.

Giannis and Khris can carry an offense but we need to get them in more high percentage spots and stop iso and hero balling. Whether that’s coaching or lack of a floor general or both, fix it. It makes my eyes bleed when Giannis probes into a congested paint because it’s incredibly easy for all 5 guys to converge the paint because all 4 of our guys are flat footed watching.

I doubt Horst has the balls to do it but I’d be supportive of an overhaul. Getting younger, more athletic, more 3D guys.

And we were the team that looked like the Monstars took our ability to play basketball. Out of 22. That's on Bud. We were legitimately wobbly the ENTIRE way through.

That is also at Bud . When Giannis was out Bledsoe had to be in and minimise the minutes they play together. Raptors build their success last year not having to guard both bledsoe and giannis outside of the paint .Playing with2 playerswithout jumper just doesnt work in any team. So their wall worked really comfortable for them.

I love Bled and his hustle but he is cripping our already crippled offense even more. He is the worst fit PG to Giannis.
Khris got the Giannis treatment tonight and the defender of Bledsoe basically forgot who was defending at times leaving him all alone.

We got beat two times by impressive defenses and we made their job even easier by giving them an extra defender to defend Giannis for free.

Interesting that we somehow can't figure out how to mitigate that when playing 4 shooters and Bledsoe...by simply positioning him as the big man on offense in those lineups, considering we are always playing shooting bigs anyway. Bledsoe has sucked hard, but lets be real, the coaching staff and players can't seem to figure out super basic strategical stuff. Why have Bledsoe spotting up which allows his man to cheat to the perimeter?

The funny thing is that you have this as a given.

We played against a 50 win team tonight that played one of their worst games and it wasn't even close.

Giannis needs to learn to play off ball as he did when he was younger, ESPECIALLY when teams defend us with "the wall." Coaches need to be creative enough to counter it. You don't answer it with, "Just put your head down brah."

Because he is being payed 20mil. If you don't playing him starter minutes you basically admit your mistake on not keeping Brogdon, signing CP3 or another starting PG who could shoot or play PNR with Giannis.

I'm with this thought, as well.

Also, it happens. Not every 1 seed goes to the finals or conference finals. The Heat played well.

Does it suck, yeah.

I'm okay with it. I enjoyed the season and even the playoffs when that could have been wiped by COVID.

I had a Bucks/Heat conference finals picked.

So, at least for me, go Heat! Take care of Boston!

Giannis needs a playmaker. Bledsoe, Dellavedova, Michael Carter Williams, Brandon Knight...Seven seasons with no decent playmaker.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
