peace in the middle east is a good thing

Yes all that war between Israel and the UAE was terrible

when looking at the individual relationship sure you might come to that conclusion. When you consider UAE has many migrants from Palestinian regions, a princess from Jordan married the VP and prime minister of UAE, and they have embassy's and relations with many other Palestinian regions. I would only consider that a good thing.

I wouldn't call it solving mid east peace

I never would suggest this single peace agreement "solves" middle east peace but since UAE has so many migrants and they are part of the Arab League (with Palestine and many other Palestinian regions) any business and positive relations towards Israel and any Arab state should be seen as a positive move in the right direction.

I mean I could care less about that. Obama won it for doing what exactly? But that is trivial stuff to me. I don't care who wins it or who gets nominated really. If the peace deal serves its purpose then I consider that a win...regardless of what side of the aisle it comes from.

so our back and forth went from me suggesting the peace deal is a good thing for the middle east and a step in the right direction to me wanting you to acknowledge trump is the best?

Don't see the correlation and you have every right to still hate trump and not vote for him and still recognize that this one thing was a good thing. :dontknow:

I always thought this was known... sadly it is not.

Didn't Trump not take the virus seriously (or at least what he thought was serious) until he spoke with Tucker Carlson who said the virus is not a hoax?

Trump’s black voter boom 'could potentially cost’ Biden the election

Polls showing consistent black voter support for President Trump at levels higher than those of previous Republican candidates may cost Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden the election. Biden's backing from this key voting group is less than it was for 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama.

In surveys of black voters, pollster John Zogby pegged support for Trump from black voters at 14%. For Biden, he said that support from black voters was between 77% and 81%.

“The numbers from likely black voters are nowhere near where they should be as they fall well below 90%,” he said in his new report in Main St. – K St. IntelligenSEER.

And in a poll for Newsmax, Zogby said, “In 2008 and 2012, Barack Obama won 96% and 93% of the black vote. Hillary Clinton’s 89% to Trump’s 9% victory among blacks was not enough to win the presidency.”

The Latino outreach is complicated. And not being on the ground because of COVID hurts. Bernie made inroads with younger Latino voters through events, discussing specific issues in Central America, etc. But there was a ground game

Honestly, I don't think the Biden campaign ever showed much care for appealing to latin voters. Hiring Ana Navarro for outreach seems like it was targeting FL with the Lincoln Project "never Trumper" strategic approach. I don't think that was the best approach. Chuck Rocha or one of the people from Bernie's campaign who had already started building channels in other areas (most important to me being Texas) would have made a lot of sense...also it woulda been a pretty easy way to appeal to the left where Rocha gets a ton of love.

This is from the CA board. A user outlined some tweets of Biden telling Latino voters to go vote for Trump; and a Latina member of Biden's staff growing frustrated and leaving:

Spoiler:
I can tell you right now that the Kamala VP pick has done NOTHING to boost Biden's Latino numbers. At best, she was picked to stabilize Biden's AA numbers.

Throughout the primary, Biden has repeatedly shunned Latino immigration activists on the campaign trail and constantly tell them, "go vote for Trump"

Well, so far, they are taking his advice lol

This was back in November:
