Had Ramen from a place downtown Madison called Morris Ramen. That place is always a winner. Also tried a new Mexican place in the next town over. It was pretty damn tasty.

Which Mexican place? Sun Prairie resident here?

Its a place that just opened up in Cross plains. Wrong side of town.

What are your favorite places to grab dinner on the east side/sun prairie?

East Side and Sun Prairie only.

Wings: Chicken Licks (No contest, try them if you haven’t. The house blue cheese dressing is the best wing dip I’ve ever had too. Get it even if you don’t usually like blue cheese dressing)
Pizza: Salvatore’s Tomato Pies
Mexican: Guimo’s
Venezuelan: La Taguara
BBQ: Beef Butter BBQ
Sandwiches: Crostini’s
Fish Fry: Dexter’s Pub, Varsity
Breakfast: Brothers Three
A Little Bit of Evetything: Tip Top Tavern, Full Mile Brewing

If I had to recommend three as “must try” it would be:

LaTagura: Pabellón a Caballo
Chicken Licks: Original wings (Sexy if you like them hotter)
Salvatore’s: Anything

La Taguara is the truth.

I need to get to Guimo's. Reviews have been great.

I have had chicken licks. They were good but I didn't get holy grail of wings vibes from them that everyone else seems to.

I also agree on Salvatore's. I am a fan. My wife is weird and only like cheap crappy pizza though so Salvatores is pretty much the forbidden fruit.

I will have to check out some of the others some day.

As hard as each guy tried to let the other win, Thiem - cramping, and barely able to move between points - wins out.

Zverev isn't gonna win a major. That guy has nerves of jelly.

Lomachenko-Lopez about a month out and Teo's been giving good copy to the scribes. For all his high-volume bluster, nothing Teo has said is as funny as Loma's recent comments.

Teofimo Lopez can talk all he wants. He’s very good at talking. He has done nothing but say my name for the past two years. I am a fighter, and my goal is to win another world title

REGGAETON AIRHORN

When we fight in Las Vegas, he will eat my punches and his words. I will be the better man, and four world titles will come home with me to Ukraine.

FUNK FLEX BOMBS

I'm howling.

Can't wait.

I think chicken licks is excellent. But I'm also opposed to waiting 90 minutes for a wing order in a packed bar. That just isn't fun for me.

Totally agree. I call my orders in and pick them up.

I've tried that twice, and both times I've still ended up waiting for at least an hour after arriving to pick them up. Maybe it's just bad luck on my part.

Ugh, Morris was my favorite spot on earth until I found out that they cook all of their non-veggie broths using pork bones. I don't eat pork, so that killed it for me. Their veggie broth just doesn't cut it.

Oy, do all of the ramen places in town do something similar or are you able to find something almost as tasty?

1. I made the trek to Middleton to hit up Taigu and got their spicy stir fry beef and their Kung Pao chicken. Both were fantastic.

2. I think I'm going to hit up Red Sushi later this week. That place is so damn tasty.

I'm not sure. I haven't bothered to try anywhere else because, from what I've read, it's pretty common. But maybe I'll check out another spot sometime soon.

That sucks. I basically eat everything so I've never given that much thought. Umami is quite good but I dont know how they make their broth. Unfortunately, of the few I've tried, Morris is pretty easily my favorite. I'm sorry you lost it. :-/

It looks like Ramen Station uses a beef base for at least one of their dishes. Thst means they migjt have a little more flexibility..

No, it really is a crap shoot. I’ve had the same experience a couple of times.
