She could have meant it like “next time we see you you won’t be the only boy because another one will be in the process of being birthed from my womb.”
Ya I said this somewhere else but it feels like a lot of people are drawing conclusion based off a social media post, which is never a good idea. He was originally planning on attending the birth, immediately after the injury that didn't seem to have changed. Maybe watching the team play well without him has changed his mind? But its the birth of your kid, I kind of doubt he's gonna miss it.
