Howard Beck: It’s been suggested to me that (Philadelphia) is where Mike D’Antoni would prefer to land. Suggested to me, I’m not saying that anybody’s saying this definitively.

Fantastic fit for this team

What was the first one lol?

I count the Pat Croce finals run as brief as it is.

If Pringles ends up here he'll likely crazy glue the phone to EB's head until he traded for some snipers.

Just b/c D’antoni wants to possibly coach Sixers doesn’t mean Sixers want D’antoni.

Some of you have complained that they are t doing their due diligence and interviewing other candidates. That’s not true. This search didn’t begin the day the season ended

Do you know if the team has interest in a CP3 trade?

Yes, but they will need to be creative and other moves would need to be made prior to or at the same time.

its going to be fascinating to see what moves they can make to fix this horrible roster construction. They need very creative minds and i'm not sure they have many of those in the FO

Yeah I think it would have to be a 3+ team trade and it's going to be difficult to find a Horford taker. They need to be willing to commit to it though if they actually want to be a contender.

He's not even on the market, but I've always thought Bobby Hurley would be successful in the NBA. Smart, intuitive, no-nonsense, raised tough.

What other moves are you referring to?

I could see D’Antoni being the pick: former asst coach, has a relationship with the FO, exciting offense, big name coach... Would be extremely interesting if Ben was our “center” instead of Joel.

I'm going to assume this means MDA has another job lined up already. Could be us.

I'm fine with it. He's a good coach and I have faith that a good coach can design a system around his players' talents. I was watching a Morey interview from I think a year ago where he was raving about MDA's ability to adjust his system around his players' strengths rather than the other way around.

Yeah his system in Houston is different than in Phoenix. Catered to Harden's ISO ability.

I'm sure he'll want to get his PG CP3 back. Hope it happens.

I'm still riding with Lue but if it's Mike then it would be interesting to see what he would try to do here. Poor fella just happened to have one of his key players get injured just as they were about to bury golden state.

He is a system coach. They trade away Capela because he wanted do it, this guy is the worst fit in the NBA for this team.

It is like Horford the last year, a terrible decision
