Ariza is 35. How much do you think he has left in the tank? The law of 76ers averages say once we trade for him he falls completely off the cliff.
The Accession of Paul Reed is upon us !
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

A trade centered around Horford & Richardson to Charlotte for Rozier & Zeller makes a lot of sense to me. Rozier is more of a creator than Josh & that's what they need, IMO.

He already did. Nice career, but his race is run and he would only be salary matching in that trade. Maybe he adds some veteran leadership, eats up some regular season minutes, but I wouldn’t count on much of anything from him.

Would Portland fans be opposed to Harris, Richardson, 2021 first, & Korkmaz for CJ and Hood?JRoy wrote:ExplosionsInDaSky wrote:ProcessDoctor wrote:Based on the recent Woj article, I think the Bucks are about to go all-in on acquiring CP3. Let's hope Brand doesn't become involved in that bidding war.
Quite honestly, the most straight-forward move to fixing our problems is Harris/Richardson/#36 for CJ/Ariza.
McCollum(32)/Milton(16)
Thybulle(30)/Korkmaz(18)
Ariza(20)/MLE(24)/Milton(4)
Simmons(34)/Horford(10)/Ariza(4)
Embiid(30)/Horford(18)
McCollum/Milton/Micic
Thybulle/Korkmaz/Smith
Ariza/MLE/#21
Simmons/Scott/#34
Embiid/Horford/Pelle
This is as simple as it gets. It's a fair trade for both sides. Portland fans seem to be on board with it as well.
Harris and Thybulle works for some of us POR fans.

The only PHI assets POR covets (only available assets) are Thybulle and Richardson. No interest in Harris on that contract.
I think CJ needs to be moved this offseason and the teams that would seem to make the most sense are PHI and MIL.
Not sure there’s a deal there as fan bases cannot agree on value.

I think we’d be a little reluctant to give up Thybulle. I think Portland is in win now with dame. Perhaps there’s better offers out there for CJ.
But a lineup of:
Nurkić
Tobias Harris
Richardson
Gary Trent Jr
Dame
With bench Zach Collins, Anfernee Simons, hood, pick 16 is pretty solid.
But yeah I get Tobias longterm salary commitment is challenging. I just don’t know what competitive teams right now can offer what exactly Portland needs.

I'd personally do Harris & Thybulle for CJ & filler. I value Thybulle, but would reluctantly include him to acquire CJ for some sorely needed perimeter scoring.JRoy wrote:ankle420breaker wrote:Would Portland fans be opposed to Harris, Richardson, 2021 first, & Korkmaz for CJ and Hood?JRoy wrote:

Just wanted to gauge the interest from your end on an alternative package. Figured having #21 and #16 in this draft could fetch an additional trade package or give you flexibility to move up on draft night.

I would want CJ, and Hood for sure.
But even in that case I would also target a defensive guard who can lock down opposing PGs a little bit.
Send JRich, Harris, Korkmaz and Zhaire plus picks out...
Send CJ, Hood (re-signed) and a defensive PG back...then sign a solid backup PG.
Embiid/Horford
Simmons/Scott
Hood/Thybulle

It's still funny to me when people (myself included) act like an actual trade negotiation is going on here.

Could live with Harris, Thybulle, 21, and 36 for CJ, Trent, and 16?

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread 2019-2020 Post Season
If we're parting with Thybulle, then Portland is either coming off of Trent or a pick. Otherwise good luck with Milwaukee. They'll have to find a three way deal as Bledsoe would no doubt be going out from Milwaukee in the deal. I think in terms of just value, Trent vrs Thybulle is a stale mate. It's about as even as it gets in my opinion and I just don't see the need for that to even happen. Portland is high on Trent and we like Thybulle. Richardson is an expiring contract and also a solid fit with Lillard. Hood is coming off of an injury plagued season and is a defensive zero in a playoff situation. We'd be doing Portland a favor by taking him off their hands. Tobais/Rich for CJ/Hood works. I would even throw in the 21 FRDP if Portland wanted it in return for a 2nd in the same draft.
The fact is Portland is going nowhere with Dame/CJ backcourt. The organization knows it and the fanbase knows it. Obviously trading Lillard is not an option as he's too special of a talent, but adding Josh Richardson and Tobias Harris for CJ and whatever is left of Hood improves Their roster imo. Like I said, i'd part with a pick if it meant getting CJ to Philly. This is probably the best offer Portland will get for CJ Mcollum. Milwaukee just doesn't have the pieces and I see them going after CP3 anyway. Orlando could always jump in by offering Aaron Gordon? That improves Portland from an athletic standpoint. I don't know who else is out there? Indy? Oladipo for CJ?
I like our chances at this if Brand decides to explore it.

Alternatively, if POR wants a prospect with defensive upside they can take Smith too. Harris/Richardson/Smith for McCollum/Hood.
McCollum(32)/Milton(16)
Thybulle(28)/Korkmaz(16)/Milton(4)
Hood(28)/MLE(20)
Simmons(34)/Horford(10)/MLE(4)
Embiid(30)/Horford(18)
McCollum/Milton/Micic
Thybulle/Korkmaz/#36
Hood/MLE/#21
Simmons/Scott/#34
Embiid/Horford/Pelle
McCollum(32)/Milton(16)
Thybulle(28)/Korkmaz(16)/Milton(4)
Hood(28)/MLE(20)

Embiid/Horford/Pelle
2023-2024 Philadelphia 76ers:
Lowry/Melton/Payne
Maxey/Hield/Downtin
Batum/Oubre/Council
Harris/Covington/Martin

Richardson becoming a free agent is a issue and Smith is equivalent to a second Round pick.
If that’s PHI best offer no thanks.

I am interested in this because it allows us to keep richardson to either play this year or trade in another deal such as for dinwiddie

It also means if they can somehow dump Horford they could keep Richardson.

Hate to be this guy but:
Embiid + Jrich for PG (s+t max)
Tobi + #34 + zhaire for CP3
I don’t see clippers saying no
I honestly have no idea what cp3’s value is, but Tobi is a perfect tank commander for the okc rebuild...
CP Shake PG Ben Al
Terry Burks Matisse ? ?
Quite honestly that team has championship aspirations and a more flexible future.
