Trump is an idiot but idk how anyone can blame him for what's going on when the left is totally cool with all of it bc it allows them to say "look at trump's America."

You never hear Trump and the right speak about black shooting victims.
You never hear the left speak about police being shot/the good cops.

It's a lose-lose. Both sides are so far apart. Need to get everyone to come together and sing kumbaya. Both sides need to realize they're both right and wrong about things.

Not gonna happen though lol

There's a reason I brought that link up. Game 7 is tomorrow. He's already preparing his excuses if we lose. He'll come out, cry a lot and tell us how much this was weighing on his mind.

To everyone's credit we've been very successful around here at leaving this stuff at the door. We have plenty enough of our own garbage already.

My new theory as of tonight and I think it's right. It explains everything we've seen. Except for maybe Kawhi, winning basketball games is NOBODY'S #1 priority.

But I think NOT ONE Clipper is gonna blame Doc for this meltdown, and even if he is to blame, he did the right thing.

The BLM, the team culture, Lou and the tittybar, Trezz's emotional breakdown.

Just calling it as I see it. For better or worse, winning the title is clearly NOT the most important thing to this Clippers squad, and that includes the owner and the coach too. And maybe they're right. They all get paid regardless.

You know, I learn something every day. For LeBron this is now or never. For the rest of the NBA, the 2020-21 season starts in a little over 3 months. A do-over.

I apologize to everyone that kept warning us about doc all year. All season.

Doc is a terrible coach and please ban anyone that suggests otherwise. Fans deserve better. The organization deserves better. Jerry west effin' deserves better. He's wearing the egg on his face all because of doc rivers. Kawhi legacy has a stain all because of doc rivers. When is enough, enough?

So you can change coaches but keep in mind that the next season comes up quick.

So if you get a new coach how much of a training camp will there be to practice new offense and defense?

Doc may be deserving of being fired for poor game management.

But you also have to question the roster too. The supporting cast may not be as good as forecasted.

Just a few issues:

1. Lack of playmaker. Kawhi can have great stretches of carrying the team. But in the playoffs, he often manufactures offense by hunting for fouls driving into the paint. Refs usually put him on the line a lot even though he’s initiating contact most of the time. That worked last year and has worked for the most part this year.

But in the fourth quarter when Clippers didn’t even make their first FG until 5 minutes left in the game, Kawhi in transition drove straight at two defenders in front of the basket hunting for a foul call. He Euro stepped right into them, lost the ball and looked for the call.

He gets those calls a lot but you can’t expect the refs to bail you out when your team can’t generate legit offense.

2. Harrell gets 6th man of the year but he struggled in the playoffs. He’s got high motor and has overachieved despit being undersized for the 4 and 5. He can finish well with his explosiveness and toughness but he’s a defensive liability vs. certain matchups.

Of course Jokic played out of his mind, shooting way above his career avg. from 3. So Clippers had to defend him at all over the court not to mention his playmaking.

3. Beverly is a nice role player and a fan favorite but he got way overpaid. Maybe still not a big deal since Ballmer can pay luxury taxes to fill some holes.

But if they give Harrell a big contract or try to retain Morris or Johnson, they probably won’t have cap space for say a playmaker?

Doesn't matter. Cultureneeds to be changed. if not for next season, then the season after that. There's no way kawhi leonard is going to stay here with doc being part of the culture. He has to go. Hopefully they sign and trade trezz, lou, and trade patbev.

Doc Rivers sucks. I’ve been a fan for 20+ years. Don’t even want to watch another game for a long, long time.

Honestly, losing this game I thought I was going to be very emotionally upset. I'm not. The only silver lining I have is doc gets fired after this. If they don't fire doc, **** em. But please fire doc. This is a chance to build a new culture.

So whoose fault is it that every player played bad in the most important game?

Doc should just man up take the blame and resign.

It's hard to be excited for the future if Doc is still the coach. He's too stubborn to ever change, and being involved in two 3-1 chokes, leaves a really bitter taste. I don't know if they can find a decent replacement in such a short time, but if not, just promote Lue or Cassell for the time being and search for someone as the year goes on.

Doc has not only ruined what was supposed to be the dream season for Clipper fans, but has also really hurt the legacy of this core going forward. If the Clippers bring him back after this, they're crazy.
