I think Doc will be back, the way he held the franchise together during the end of the Sterling saga won't be forgotten.

Kawhi losing and Durant becoming a league wide disgrace proves there are basketball Gods.

Re: ATL - Playoff Conference Semi Finals
Lebron is quietly having his easiest championship run of his career.
1st round= Tired Blazers without defense
2nd round= Trash Rockets without rim protection for him and AD
3rd round= Extremely tired Denver without rim protection for him and AD.
Finals= A good team in the east without a top 10 player against two top 5 players.

Wouldn’t want my favorite team to acquire Paul George. He’s negative energy.

I always liked PG, dating back to the draft and his Pacers days. This season was...eye-opening.
If a deal was there I don't think I'd exactly turn it down, but he's not exactly high on my list either.

Drafted into and traded into 2 top 5 organizations in terms of culture and IQ during his time there and he either forced his way out or left willingly to plat in LA. He gets all that he deserves.

The bubble was always gonna deliver some weird results. Denver becoming the first team to ever come back from two 3-1 series deficits, both the Clipper and Bucks (a lot of peoples' Finals matchup) being ousted in the 2nd round. Only one Top-2 seed in the Final 4. I don't know, if we somehow get a Denver/Miami Finals, then people will probably rightfully look back on these playoff results with a fair bit of skepticism. I'm certainly not using it as a referendum on a lot of these guys. Kawhi isn't all of a sudden not clutch and Jamal Murray isn't all of a sudden the most clutch player in basketball. Doing it in front of loud, packed arenas and doing it in a (relatively) empty gym are just so different.

I agree with everything you said, but it does seem like Lebron has taken this bubble thing seriously and kept his focus. I don't see LAL folding against Denver like the Clippers did. Lebron is like a shark smelling championship blood at this point.

I think it is less about the bubble than the wild swings of 3 point shooting. Game to game there is so much swingyness. Blowing a 15 point lead doesn't mean anything anymore.

Yeah it's clear the bubble made 3 point shooting much easier.

GM candidates withdrawing from the Kings search like they’re the 2017 Bucks.

IF Giannis leave Milwaukee I would like to see him in Denver. Giannis, Jokic, Murray. It would be such a great fit IMO

If I were Giannis and decided to leave... I would go to Dallas play with Doncic and KP.
KP & Giannis are friends
Doncic will be there for the next 7 years... ("Dallas will offer him the max and match any offer)
so the best team, teammates, youth, Doncic 7 years, yeah that would be my choice.

For the folks who argued with me - insisting that Miami is just a typical 5th seed, here's an article for you. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/page/zachlowe29895684/nba-playoffs-how-miami-heat-made-incredible-turnaround

Agreed about Kawhi, but the bubble shouldn't be used as an excuse for the Clippers and the overrated Doc Rivers. Year after year, they've failed to live up to expectations. There's no asterisk.
