Dude deserves all the flack he gets and then some more.
His behaviour and blatant tampering ( wich is posible that had gone on for the WHOLE year) and the cowardice on trying to avoid other teams to have anyone importante left to sign in f.a to ensure the team he was tampering wiht had a stronger hand make him deserveing of being scorned until he is 90.

I didn't understand Kawhi's hypetrain... He took championship in 2014 playing in San Antonio system. Then it took him 5 years to do the similar thing in Toronto's system, which also needed a heroic shot which could have easily ended differently... And now all of the sudden everybody expects that he will win everything everywhere

I would just alter it to their behaviour being scummy. I think there's an important difference. He ended up buying into all the whispers that benefited hangers on. But at the end of the day, his choice in how he conducted himself on and off the court.
