this is not a close comparison, guys. Harrell is on an entirely different level than Ibaka.

I think it would be a great move to bring in Harrell. Gasol would have to go, Serge would have to take a paycut, FVV may have to take a paycut to make all of the salaries work. Harrell will want a lot of money. Siakim's contract will start this year, plus Lowry's 30 mil.

Raps should not throw big dollars for Harrell. An undersized big man (he is only 6 foot 7 without shoes), and who is not a very good defender.

They will have the full mid level (about $9M, could be more) if they let Harrell walk. And there are a lot of centers available in free agency.

I think a guy like Tristan Thompson would be much better for them than Harrell. And yes, they lose Harrell's trade value, but they might get more out of the mid-level contract, especially if they overpay to keep Harrell who became a liability in the playoffs.

Then they try and sign and trade Harrell. But they aren't giving up his rights. That would shock me. Since he's worth more than the MLE likely.
