The Boston Celtics had serious interest in drafting Tyler Herro leading up to the 2019 NBA Draft.

Boston owned the 14th pick but the Miami Heat picked Herro at No. 13. The Celtics lost a coin flip to the Heat for the selection and they ended up selecting Romeo Langford at No. 14.

"On NBA draft night last year there was a collective moan among the Boston Celtics brass right about the time the Miami Heat used the No. 13 pick to select Tyler Herro," wrote A. Sherrod Blakely this week.

Herro is averaging 20.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists through the first four games of the Eastern Conference Finals.

This reminds me of Slicin...If I didnt take Herro at 24- Slicin would have taken him...

Nah it's just funny how you overdrafted him, saw him fall, then panicked and traded him for a salary dump

And the fact that you have him in your plans proves that I was right to draft him...that
was the point of me suggesting that you trade him back to me...

I had no clue the nba was "that" afraid of his medical history-AND neither did ANYONE else in BAF
-- that was the only mistake I made--even though in context it could be argued that it wasnt a mistake-
If Bol was drafted in the first round and got the opportunity to start-
we wouldn't even be having this discussion...

And I think i'll keep the #4 pick...

This is a must win game for them. I don't think they have another 3-1 comeback in them especially against the Lakers
