Okogie might get better at the 3 as he shot 38% twice from the college 3. Also, he shot almost 80% from the FT line last season.

Can JJ be flipped for an expiring big?

Gorgui Dieng in Memphis?

JJ is an expiring big. Vet min bigs shouldn't be too hard to find. Or just give Ibaka a big 1-year contract.

His passing is so crisp! If he can be mentored by Marc Gasol, look out.

He made $2.6 million last season in Sacramento. I'd be okay with giving him the full MLE with a player option 4th with max raises.

He's only 22. This would be like Powell's current contract and it's likely that he exceeds it.

I had no idea his passing was so good he's got a nice looking jumper that's he's a bit hesitant to use still too.
We've got the rep now to convince him that he can get a chance to actually show his skill here with us. So we should be able to get him for a good deal

One thing to keep in mind on centres is we need one who spreads the floor, not one who goes down low. Someone like Whiteside would clog the lane and make double teams on Pascal easy with two bigs to deny the pass to Whiteside. We need someone who can make the midrange and three to pull the centre out of the middle.

I guess so, but if Gasol leaves, would like someone that can play C. Also Dieng is from Senegal to make Team Africa for Giannis.

Dieng can somewhat hit the 3.

Min already traded dieing for JJ, they aren't going to go backwards.

HOU fans are convincing themselves that they can sign Ibaka for the MLE, which I find hilarious, since I can't see him leaving if he's willing to settle for so little

Giles would be a great Gasol replacement in terms of having a point big. Regardless of whether Giannis comes or not, I feel we need to start transitioning to a younger core, and Giles will slot in fine. Maybe offer him a McCaw type contract (around $4M per season).

Toronto gets: Batum + 2
Philly gets: Lowry + Looney
Golden State gets: Horford + Richardson + Thybulle + 21 + 36
Charlotte gets: Wiggins + McCaw + 59 + 2023 Raps 2nd

Toronto gets: Oladipo
Indiana gets: VanVleet

Toronto gets: Brunson + Jackson + Marjanovic + 18
Dallas gets: Powell + Johnson

Toronto gets: 12 (Saddiq Bey)
Sacramento gets: 18 + 29

Wave Jackson and Marjanovic.

Re-sign Ibaka to a 1-year $25 million contract (or less depending on cap)
Re-sign Gasol to a 1-year $12.5 million contract (or less depending on cap)
Re-sign Brissett and Watson to a multi-year contract at the minimum the salary with only year 1 fully guaranteed.

Ball/Brunson/TD
Oladipo/Thomas/Watson
OG/Bey/Brissett
Siakam/Batum/Boucher
Ibaka/Gasol/Hernandez

Core of Siakam/OG/Ball/Bey to convince Giannis to come.

Minn is getting Powell. It's Memphis to consider. Maybe with Brandon Clarke's emergence last season and having JJJ and JV, they'd like forward depth back.

I would give him more if we could lock him in for 4 years no player option.

I could see him having an A/T of 1.5-2 next season.

With Gasol. I think Ibaka will re-sign on a 1-yr deal.

What would it take to acquire Gobert?
Would Utah accept a sign and trade - Ibaka + Powell + #29 for Gobert ?

You cannot aggregate s&t player(ibaka) with a regular contract (powell) for purposes of trade.

How can we get Myles Turner?

Adding him to the team would be monumental for the franchise's future.

Just go with #29 in 2021 as the Raptors after such a trade would be #2 in the league again.

PG Lowry - TD
SG FVV - Thomas
SF OG - McCaw/Watson
PF Siakam - OG - Boucher
C Gobert - FA - Hernandez
