Them... I'm not sure what to make of. We were supposed to have 20,000 of them in Portland and they ended up outnumbered and just kinda piddled about. At the end of the day, most of them are scared **** less of cities (and the varieties of people in them).
#patriots4gtfomycity
Here’s the thing about Trump and the majority of his supporters like the Proud Boys. Deep down inside they’re insecure cowards. They only find strength in numbers and demeaning people. That’s why I don’t actually expect to see wide spread violence if Trump loses. These people are deeply fundamentally too lazy and scared to do anything other than talk a big game. I really hope that on the night Biden wins, people stay in and let the proud boys get dealt with by the police.

You realize the police have been helping and thanking them right? The police are on their side. In Kenoshia the officers were literally thanking the militia and there's videos of militia members that had a change of heart telling protesters the police told them they'd funnel the protesters to one area and "let y'all take care of them."
Really Pointgod you think the police are here to protect us?

They'll be staring down the shaft of the barrel at their former colleagues and will go out in a body bag. There may be no stopping the bloodshed, but none of them will survive if they go wilding. I don't care how many Nazis are now in the police ranks, no sheriff or police chief can afford Kenosha x10. That was a lone d-bag who was sheltered by cops. I get it. There are cops who want to see this stuff happen, but a lone gunman is different than posses roaming the streets unloading their ammo. If it comes down to that they'll get in a firefight with authorities and they will lose. I hope nobody innocent gets hurt, but I know that may be coming
I don't see the military doing that. I just don't. I see more of the military being on Trump's side than against and I think their votes prove that well. Like what authorities in the US with the power and structure to squash a widespread militia are against this? How many times do these people that you think are here to protect us have to show their ass for you to realize that's not their function at all and it's never been.
The rank and file might be but as an organization the military won't have his back. Generals are operating at a different level than that and the letters by Mattis and other retired generals are basically telling Trump that he is on his own. That's why he's calling on the Po'boys.
Police departments could be a wildcard but I don't see a lot of institutional backing of a coup. It'll be the Po'boys and rogue departments.

Exactly. Retired military (generals, admirals) have spoken as proxies for active military leadership that is not going to state their position both due to the traditional separation of politics from the military, but even more so as to not tip their hand to Trump.
Trump is very much on his own.

Why I don't think Trump has been a fascist:
- Trump is against COVID lockdowns, but blue states are allowed to lock down
- Trump is against BLM/ANTIFA rioting, but blue states have been handling their own business (sure he sent in some FBI, but his philosophy has largely been to stay away until they ask him, or else this would have ended ages ago)
- Trump's mortal enemy is the mainstream media, but he has not banned them
He allows the opposing party which he considers his enemy to run nearly half the country in a way he wildly disagrees with, including several of the most important states like California, New York and Illinois. Is this fascism?
In my opinion a real fascist like Xi would react very differently to all these situations. He wouldn't allow half the country to go against the CCP's orders when it comes to the lockdown, wouldn't allow free protest and certainly wouldn't allow the type of press against him that Trump has.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

William Barr is on record as admitting he had earlier drawn up a plan that required the park to be clear. He gave the order. Denials by the Park Service do not change that it was an action planned by the WH and carried out by them. Further, a whistleblower this month testified that same day the WH was seeking heat rays and sound weapons to disperse crowds. So, yeah, Trump had everything to do with it.

Controlling the media is possibly the #1 trademark of fascists in my opinion.

Lmao shut your dumb ass up. Xi would react differently? Did the CCP do even half as much to the HK protesters as the American police and Trump's federal agents did? No? Go play in traffic dude. Literally coming to talk about **** that don't have nothing to do with you because you hate non white people so much, ain't that some ****.

You've got it backwards. Rank and file that go rogue are dangerous to innocent bystanders, but they have zero influence on the transition of power. The actual rank and file will follow orders

There's a difference between idealization and actuality. I think Trump in his perfect world would 100% would ban any sort of media that didn't paint him in a good light and run his own network 24/7 to spew propaganda if he was actually president in a country like China or some small country nobody was keeping tabs on. He is unhinged.

of course not, come on, you should know from my posting I don’t believe that. Look if Biden wins that’s it, it’s over nothing Trump can do. What better way to perfectly show the end of his Presidency than election result footage of empty streets with just the Proud Boys and cops circle jerking each other
The perfect pathetic representation of Trump’s America.
There's nothing Trump can do... Other than what he's saying he'll do? Who's going to stop him is what I want to know. Has he been stopped yet? Has he not clearly committed actions that in a functioning democracy would've got him removed from office?

This is just not how human beings work. Sure they'll blindly follow commands to go bomb 12 year olds in Iraq for oil money. Probably not to go shoot their military LARPing cousin Jimbo who's part of the Trump paramilitary.
