Greatest of this generation and that's all that should matter when looking at the greats.

2 of his 4 came in shortened/unconventional seasons, I wonder if people that don’t like him will use that as ammo.

As a spurs fan I always get grief for the “asterisk” 1999 season but never hear the same argument for the 2012 season funny enough.

Yeah, I imagine this is going to be one of the least memorable Finals (and playoffs) in a while. It doesn't help that it's so lopsided and involves the mediocre Heat team, but maybe they should have tried holding the Finals at a bigger venue. MLB's **** up w COVID, but at least their games feel more authentic than this.

The Heat’s 3 best players got injured in the 1st damn game.

How are the Lakers so damn lucky? They keeping falling face first into superstars, it’s just not fair man.

Hate to pull a Paul pierce but this series is over. Miami is getting injured at the wrong time and Lebron and AD will continue to beast.

I wonder if people will say the Lakers title is tainted or "they got lucky" because of Miami's injuries

No doubt. Even Gasol would have been useful vs Lakers. Ibaka and Siakam even providing no offence too and Ananoby. Heat won’t contain AD or Lebron

I was partly joking...just taking a shot at the people that give the Raptors championship an asterisk...they'll have to keep that same energy for the Lakers if Dragic and Bam are out

One thing we know is the League let the wrong team win in the East. Heat overachieved but letting Boston advance to face the Heat over us will let Lakers and Lebron get his most easiest 4th Ring ever. Boston beating the champs but then lose to the Heats in 6 is the biggest joke PERIOD!!!

He got lucky with the clippers choking. Next year with the warriors coming back and KD with the nets he might not win another one for awhile.

He beat a much better Warriors team in 2016 with a much worse #2 in Kyrie than AD. We will see on the Nets, but I wouldn’t get your hopes up on that.

Draymond suspension, Curry playing hurt, Iggy and Bogut getting hurt also impacted that series.

Kyrie also hit the biggest shot of that series.

That’s good for Kyrie, but LeBron went 41-16-7-3-3, 41-8-11-4-3, and 27-11-11-2-3 to close that series in the last three games in what has an argument for the greatest Finals performance in history.

The crazy thing is he is still more or less that guy even at age 36. The Warriors (who have nowhere near the quality of role players they did then and who have watched Curry and Draymond decline) are simply not. Suffice it to say, I’m taking LeBron and AD in that one.

Their 4th and fifth options are Wiggins and probably one of the lotto picks in this draft. I don’t think it’ll be a skeleton crew.

Wiggins is literally terrible (he’s basically like a very poor man’s Demar) and has been for his entire career. That isn’t a selling point for me.

We’ve never seen him be a 4th option. I think he’ll be better than Harrison Barnes.

Forget the shortened season - has an NBA team ever had as WEAK a pathway to a Championship as the 2020 Lakers? Portland, Houston, Denver, Miami. Good teams yes, but they are hardly juggernauts. Both the 2019 Sixers and 2019 Bucks would have mopped the floor with the 2020 Lakers, and the Raps had to go through both those teams just to get to the Finals.

2018-9 season: the east was simply the better conference...much more entertaining playoffs as well...

Raptors championship #1. no certainty the Raptors could have had a chip with the Warriors having both Klay and Durant 100% but thats what happens sometimes. injuries are part of the game and you can only play who is front of you.

only because of Lebron James. lol

if it was the Denver Nuggets, it wouldn't matter at the end of the day. thats how people are crazily obsessed with Lebron are, for better or for worse. I don't even think it would be as bad either if Kawhi was in Lebron's shoes in the finals.
