He’s a fan of Lowry and FVV too, so he’ll fit right in.

Noel and Gilles may have some untapped potential, but they've been in the league a few years now and they're known quantities. I could be wrong but I feel Tillman could have a greater defensive impact than Noel right away. Not to mention his passing and his BBIQ. From a roster construction perspective, I'd feel much better developing a prospect with those attributes.
Tillman potentially like Al Horford. Giles seems like potentially someone like Chris Webber.
Every year they have these comparison. I think he is already very good ending up like Patrick Patterson.

Could Bane become the bigger version of FVV?

FVV is a borderline All Star level player despite lacking height and other physical tools. I like Bane but Raps would be extremely lucky if the 29th pick becomes a borderline All Star player.

You mean Tillman? I think Taj Gibson rather than Patterson.

Not saying it's the most likely scenario, but considering Pascal was an allstar at the 27th and Fred is borderline while being undrafted it's not out of the question to think our development team is capable of turning another late pick into a key contributor

I am unsure he has the vertical of Gibson, and the reason he is unlikely to be anything Al Horford (Horford has a great vertical for being a rim protector). He could be Patterson if he can improve his shot.
And if you just want a point forward, there are Naji Marshall, who is probably quicker and more perimeter oriented defensively. Vision/passing is definitely above Tillman.
I mean if you want a passing PF who cannot play at C, why not draft a passing PF who can play at SF?

Naj Marshall looks like James Johnson out there.
As for Tillman, he just lost a lot of weight. Give him another year or 2 to get stronger.

I feel someone like Saben Lee being undraft or late at 59 can be a good contributor.
He played a year under Stackhouse, so he is familiar with NBA play/set.
He is a combo guard, so I don't expect his passing to be off the chart, maybe as most Davis passing/vision. And his shooting will need to be improve. But his ability to get to the rim, and measure similar to Powell, that I feel he can be a sleeper.
“Toronto was a really, really good interview,” Bane said during his pre-draft media availability Wednesday. “I love their style of play. Nick Nurse is one of the great minds in basketball, being able to throw difference defences on the fly, the Raptors are one of those teams that are never going to stop fighting and I feel like that fits my DNA.”
“The feedback that I’ve gotten from a lot of NBA teams, they feel like I can shoot the ball, I defend, I play hard, I’m a smart player on both ends of the floor,” Bane said. “I’m one of those guys that’s a plug and play guy, you throw me out there and tell me what to do and I’m gunna figure out a way to get it done efficiently.”
“I feel like I can go there and have similar success, like Terence Davis,” Bane said of Toronto. “[Davis] is a bigger, athletic, strong guard who defends well, plays hard, I feel like I can bring some of those characteristics to the table.”

Nah. He's not Norm.
- lacks explosiveness
- short wingspan
- higher IQ
- Norm is pretty quick laterally
Don't draft him, pick him up if he goes undrafted which he might.
