I think Horford and probably JRich need to go. I can’t imagine Doc not having an actual PG option for when Ben inevitably never shoots.

Looks like it won't be MDA. I guess that means we won't be open to trades.

I'd be okay with Rivers but he'll need a new nickname. There's only one Doc in Philly!

I do like that Doc comes from two dignified professionally run organizations in LAC (post Sterling) and Boston. I'd like to think he'd call out an unmitigated sh*tshow when he sees one.

Lol, I wasn't suggesting a nickname, I was pointing out that we had another famous Doc in town.

Everything seems to have gone well last night. More negotiations will happen today. Looking like it will be Doc

Well he spent the night and then they had breakfast. In my experience that is always a good sign.

But I wonder if they would ask. So Doc why do you keep blowing 3-1 leads and have such toxic locker rooms. What is going on with that and how much of that falls on the coach?

Or are they just starstruck that they are going to have a named coach that has already won a championship as the next coach?

I think they like how he’s worked with Tobias and will be a commanding presence for the locker room. I think the issues with Clippers this year stem from the stoppage and restart where some of his players didn’t want to resume. Also, Paul George isn’t very easy to work with

Some FO changes would be made if Rivers gets the job. I just dont know the extent and how high up those changes would be. Rivers would be ok working with Brand

Remember when local news had a helicopter following Gus Bradley's trip to Jeffrey Lurie's house before they picked Chip Kelly lol?

Some FO changes should be forthcoming regardless, but I already like that Doc's hiring would send some these hacks packing.

If Doc gets hired, do you have any predictions on how the roster might shake up? Trade Horford? Try to bring Cp3 back to Doc? Acquire a couple more shooters?

Wasn't JJ on the lob city team for a couple years?

Rivers has an history to work well with a group of underachievers and that's what the Sixers are now.
