It's a good/great game normally, when you're missing your 2 of your best 3 players it's not enough... it just isn't. It's the )#($()# FINALS.

Man, we could really use some length. That first half was a killer again.

I'm not depressed. We're short-handed tonight, and put up a much better fight. We're just lacking the talent the Lakers have. We can't put Meyers and KO on the floor at the same time, eventhough we desperately need rebounding in there. We missed Goran's veteran playmaking, and Bam's defensive versatility.

This is an uphill battle for however many games we can stretch this out to. We need to play our best, and we'll still need the Lakers to have a bad night. I'm a bit superstitious at times like this, so I might skip the next game, and catch it in highlights. I did that in the first 3 rounds, and we won those. I just hate the idea of not getting a chance to see this team play on the biggest stage, win or lose.

0-2 would have been expected on the road at LA pre-COVID. Let's get Game 3 with a strong effort. They got weapons, but we got heart. Let's go HEAT!

We need them strictly to rebound! Anything offensively is a plus. Your asking Crowder, Iggy, Duncan, And Jimmy to keep AD, Dwight, Bron off the boards. Never going to work especially out of a zone. We can go small for the backups when they get AD is resting.

Props to the Lakeshow, the smaller teams peg them to shoot it and they shoot it well. Their scrubs are heavyweights too. Rondo and the bald guy are as bad as their hairdos

And chit. I need to see the spreadsheet on midrange shooting in the playoffs, AD has to be 1 and 1 with one of MJ's best szn's. Unreal

I hope Spo finally gives up on the zone all game strategy. Just in spurts and when Ducan is out there. And if Duncan isnt hitting, leave him on the bench. At least see what it looks like.

If AD kills us with mid range 2s all game, so be it. Just be physical and don't let it be easy. If LeBron bulldozes and travels to 40 points, so be it. He will tire and choke in the 4th. But we can't let them have everything. Role players and stars comfortable and wide open.

Miami gave up 16 offensive rebounds, at least 2 of them off free throws, Miami got 6 off reb, that's 10 extra possessions for LA, that's almost impossible to make up against a good team.

I hear you regarding our rebounding woes, but both those dudes are abysmal rebounders! Rebounding was always our weakness, so too bad we couldn't pick up a solid rebounder in the Iggy trade.

Maybe, but I think Spo wanted 2 ballhandlers on the floor, as I don't think Jimmy is quite as agile right now with the ankle injury. Besides, I think the lack of length is hurting us far more on the boards, and I don't think DJJ would make much of a difference in that regard. AD and Lebron are just too much for our rotation to handle on the glass. KO manages to defend a bit better than Meyers, but both were getting worked on the defensive glass. Wish we had Silva and Bam healthy, so we'd have more options.

Robinson looks lost and mentally craped out. I will seriously look into benching him right now. He’s killing any chance defensively and offensively. Doesn’t even rotate hard on the zone.

You have to try it. There were 2 or 3 possessions where Bron caught a few feet infront of the rim and just layed it up. If you have a big there, that's an easy block. And we are dying for someone who can box out. AD isn't the strongest guy. If you can have someone strong but a body infront of him you can keep him away from the glass.

It's unfair to be frustrated at the team considering the circumstance. But it was annoying to see every time we were about to make it a single point game, we'd give up an offensive rebound

Everyone hating on Kelly , I thought he gave us great minutes. Leonard also when he was on Dwight.

Jimmy played well also even though you could tell he was gassed and not 100%.

Robinson was terrible, Herro was not aggressive enough with his shot, Crowder was ok but he just can’t be asked to guard AD anymore, that’s tough.

Nunn and Iggy were ok tonight.

Spo gets a bad grade from me tonight. Stayed with the zone all game and they were killing it all night way to many easy buckets. Also his refusal to play the bigs together when need to keep them of the offensive is mind boggling.


Hopefully we go with this game plan next game. It’s our only shot.

We scored 114 points on 51% shooting (with Yimmy accounting for over 50 of those points), Yimmy's offense didn't lose us this game. We lost the game on the defensive glass and lazy zone execution, but if you want more from our offense we're gonna need DRob/Herro/Nunn to do better than 4-14 from 3
