If only the Raptors had a guy with the gamer mentality like Butler. I know Kyle is like that but we need another. Imagine a team with Kyle and Jimmy together...wow.

I'm having trouble filling out the roster help me out.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Yeah, but he's just a flat out shot maker. These are the guys who are willing to lean into a fastball just to get a guy on base in the 9th.

Jimmy Butler is the SG version of Kyle Lowry.

Really wish we went after him in FA.

Neither did Miami. We could have made it happen if he wanted to be here imo.

Miami did have capspace. What do you mean? They went into that offseason with capspace.

Edit: Wait, nvm. Just went back and looked. I was wrong. They did not have capspace. Forgot they traded Richardson. Lol

Leonard handicapped the Raptors by dragging them along in free agency, making then think they had a chance. The Raptors really had no time to do anything significant when he finally told them he wasn't returning. More than anything else, that was the worst thing Leonard did to the Raptors. It was as douchy as it gets.

It looks like you don't understand the concept of the MVP. Let me try to help a bit.
Your LeBron had basically another triple double last night but they still lost 25/10/8 outplayed by Jimmy Butler.

The idea of the MVP is essentially: If the MVP/Giannis does not perform then your team/Milwaukee cannot win and whenever that same MVP/Giannis does perform then his team is almost unbeatable.

Due to foul trouble last night, AD could not perform thus his team lost with his15pts/5rbs. but when he did perform like in the first 2 games: The team looked absolutely dominant/unbeatable.

Now you know what the Most Valuable Player means.

If LeBron can win the next 2 games with AD 'underperforming' then he will become the MVP.

Yeah Kawhi took a long ass time to decide. I think he was just waiting for the PG deal to go through and had no intention of signing with the Raptors.

Wish he told us from the beginning that we were out so we could pivot to another direction.

Lowry/Butler/OG/Siakam/Gasol is so nasty. The bench would need to be addressed depending on which combination of Powell/Fred/Serge are traded.

I watched like 5 mins of the game 3 - this loss proved only 1 thing..all this talk of LBJ being better than MJ23 & even the late Kobe Bryant needs to be put to rest...both of them would have finished the opponents off by taking over the game, the Lakers were overconfident just like the clips were against the nuggets after taking 3-1 lead (2 games ahead situation) & became complacent...and giving the heat this hope of making this series 2-2.

they should win the series but no way should this finalks extend beyond 5 games; all depends on the lakers urgency..

To me Jimmy Butler would have been the perfect fit on this team and would have probably made the Raptors a legit championship threat, if not the favourites.

But, the Raptors would have had to do some additional moves to make it happen, so who knows. As it sits today, this roster is still a star like Jimmy Butler away from being legit contenders. They don't really need a superstar.

Butler would not go to Raptors. It would've been obvious to him that he was plan B while for Miami he was Plan A. I doubt Miami had any delusions about getting Kawhi like Raps did

Return to Toronto Raptors
