This. I'm proud of this team for the way they continue to fight in this series. Unfortunately, the talent disparity and being without Dragic is proving to be too much for us to overcome. People on here act like L.A. doesn't have two top 5 players in the NBA. Despite that, the Miami Heat don't lay down for anyone!

We fought hard. Enough of the defensive scheming is right, they shot better than us from 3 which is the key difference really.

And down the stretch they just attacked Duncan all the time and it paid off. Meanwhile we had to earn all our clutch buckets. The D on their big 2 has gotten good but that guarantees you nothing.

Credit to the lakers hitting their shots. Let’s go down swinging hard and magical til the very end

One game at a time. We can do it.

Its over now my guy. This was it. You cant give a front running team a 3-1 lead. Now they get to pin their ears back and play loose.

It’s a make or miss league. We missed at least 8 wide open threes tonight. We make 4 of those and we get the win.

Hell, Jimmy makes the corner three to give us a 91-90 lead and we may have won.

Every play counts. They out hustled us tonight as well.

This game could have went either way. If we shoot better next game, we can win.

1 game at a time. It’s game 7 on Friday.

I've been following Butler his whole career, it's why I'm on this board now, he let his team down by deferring on offense. I'm not sure if you saw game 3, he wasn't nearly as aggressive tonight as he was in game 3 and it probably cost his team a title.
buttler is not that type of player that would score 30-40 on back to back that's not his DNA

It is if he's in scoring mode.

Butler has 2 modes with his mentality, distributor mode and scorer mode, basically normal vs aggressive mode. He's shown it more in the last few years where he's a normal mindset for the first 3 quarters then turns it on in the 4.

At the end of the day, laker/lebron fans have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life that they had before they woke up today. They have the same personal problems they had today.

I thought Kobe was the one aggressively pushing around 20 year olds not Lebron....

Sure, but it was a poor shot, he can get a 3pt shot at anytime, he wasn't in a rhythm shooting at that point of the game to expect him to make an outside shot out of nowhere.

Also, you're expecting players in their first or 2nd year to hit those shots in the Finals, it normally doesn't happen, not enough to count on making those shots.

Big change of momentum.

That was the dagger there. JB shouldn’t have settled for that shot, and our transition D sucked.

It was a stupid shot, Bam and Butler were both out at the 3pt line, it was a perfect shot to have miss and lead to a fast break the other way. IT WAS A LAZY SHOT, Butler took a number of lazy shots tonight.

Butler cost Miami a title tonight. He's the "Max" player, the "leader" and he was deferring to K.Nunn in a finals game, way to lead.

Thats totelly was the momentum shift and the dagger. Lazy shot. Should have attacked the basket. The lane wa open. This is why we need a superstar. He is not enogh he is not consistent.

that jimmy shot likely lost us the game...

2 on 1 fast break him and bam, he settles instead of tying the game, and they come down and hit an oppo corner 3 to go 93-88

I actually thought he figured it out after Game 3, I was wrong. He had a 30 point half this last season, he's had a 40 point half earlier in his career and now in a game they needed to stay alive he was deferring to inferior players. He had 17 shots in a Finals game they needed which would be ok if he was deferring to players who were hitting but he wasn't.

That shot, missing that shot left Butler the furthest he could be on the court from being able to get back on defense. It would have been different if he had just hit 2 shots and was "hot", but he wasn't.

Still don't know why Nunn got so many minutes, put DJJ out there, you would have gotten better defense and maybe some more rebounds and possibly won the game.

Whatever happens in this series, I'm so freakin' proud of these guys. Win or lose, this was just an amazing post season by the Heat.

There's still a series to be played. One game at a time, fellas.

Wow, some of y'all need to lay off Jimmy. Guy's playing huge minutes, he can't aggressively attack the basket on every possession. There is such a thing as fatigue.

The Jimmy corner 3 was there to take. It just didn’t go in. Bs about a wide open lane, the lakers are a ridiculous rim protecting team. He has a good look, took it and missed. Doesn’t reflect how winning a player he is he’s amazing.

He’s just up against two all time greats. It’s not supposed to be easy

Offensively we were disaster today. Defensively we were fine aside lakers clutch 3s and the late rebounding

Yeah like playing a lick of defense for starters.
This kid is beyond bad at defense, he should work all summer on it.
