Charlotte 2020 Big Board - Pick #2

With the draft just over a month away I thought it a good time to get our big board up and going for this year.

We'll keep each picks thread open for a few days before I or another mod tally the votes, lock the thread and open the next pick thread.

Pick #1 = Wiseman (37%)

The bummer with wanting Ball first is that I still have to vote for him over guys like OO and Hayes. Would be way happier with those guys compared to Wiseman and Edwards.

Easy choice for Okongwu. Edwards sounds like Dion Waiters with more drama and LaMelo ain't even as good as his brother who was also drafted too high. Stretch if Hayes ever becomes as good as Rozier or Graham too.

Kinda funny that OO got two votes for #1 and already has 6 votes for #2. Guess I'm one of the few that would prefer OO to Wiseman.

I've also got OO ahead of Wiseman

But I'm going with Edwards. Yeah he's got more concerns than the other guys but I'm swinging for the fences here

I don't see OO having star potential but I don't believe Edwards can reach his ceiling in Charlotte.

Why? All those Wiseman votes had to go somewhere

If anything it shows that most clearly view the draft as Wiseman then Ball/OO. will be interesting to see what happens at third place

I went with Hayes. I think he's a safe choice with upside. I've cooled on Edwards he would be 3 for me.

BLUF: I think he needs to get away from home and Charlotte doesn't give him enough distance

I would have voted Wiseman or OO 1st either way. It was basically a tie breaker for me. Ive been pretty open about liking Wiseman more than Edwards/Ball.

Generally surprised for love for Okongwu. Seems the lurkers really want us to get a big. I'd be totally happy if he ended up the pick. Think he's much better fit for us compared to Wiseman.

Split between Hayes and Okongwu as the two safest picks in the draft. Went with need.

Okongwu is underrated IMO.
