Stick to this, and we should be fine.

If you feel that someone is trolling or in this thread in bad faith report rather than reply.

Let's have a good discussion about important issues.

You are a Russian mail order bride!

LOL
Sir with all due respect I think you mean to say you have the classic trademarks of being a Russian Mail order bride

Wrong - it's definitely Wingo, but we love him anyway!

They are story tellers spinning establishment narratives on events that happen not actually truth tellers providing the facts and reality of what's going on. Unfortunately the alt-media is also filled with just as many grifters hoping to cash in from bubble feeding.

It's very hard to find real organic information without it covered in processed bias spin.

my perspective has been that the worst propaganda people consume on a daily basis comes from the US government and the corporate ruling class and their media arms, not from poorly executed russian and chinese social media disinformation campaigns. whenever they get the chance the gop will blame china and the dems will blame russia and put a magnifying glass over them because it helps to have a foreign adversary on which we can blame our national failures and have those in power avoid accountability, the latest example trump blaming the the virus on china instead of the fact he intentionally downplayed and mislead the public about the threat, but as usual the saying goes we have met the enemy and he is us

Yet in your conception of life and media existence, you can accept that the "MSM is completely biased" yet can see no way in which RT might be playing a different, but equally biased game?

Sorry, but this comes across like a russian mail order bride who discovered some unpleasant fact about how certain things can work in the USA, but then completely ignores what the dynamic might be in her own land.

I'd be a bit careful about statements like this.

I feel like this is an area where the wiggy left and right come together but in a not completely accurate way.
Does the US government propagandize? Oh yes.
Does the MSM have biases and political agendas - all over the map btw - oh certainly.

But then, there is this rush then to embrace or discount what a country with a 500 year history of authoritarian rule and secret police is capable of doing. Or the sophistication of the Chinese. Or Iranians or whoever. Hey, guess what! These are powerful nation states with smart people too! And all the cool kids of nations conduct information operations and spread propaganda.

Sorry, but I consider it VERY unwise to underestimate them or their capabilities.

It doesn't have to be, that people learn "OMG! The US and it's media pushes some sh*t!" and then immediately run to embrace the other parties in the world doing the exact same thing.

Every story and situation needs to be analyzed from it's own and the reporting angles. Trump could cast blame one way, the military industrial complex another, the state department a 3rd way, certain MSM outlets a 4th, 5th and 6th way, and then start adding on the ways that foreign nations spin it. Could wind up with 15 different variations on a story. With one general truth in there somewhere.

wrong about RT

Yeah. Saying RT has no input from the Russian government is so off the mark I'm just going to agree with you that this is wrong and walk away. It's too ludicrous to debate

That's certainly shocking. I used to live about 10-15 mins away from the Villages and would go through it every now and then as it was the closest store. It's truly a dreadful place that you'd want to avoid. I can't see any young person today ever retiring there. They'll have to bulldoze the whole place in 20-30 years

as much as I have criticized her for saying fake things like that, doing this really just comes across tasteless and inappropriate

Yeah, he's even more super duper pink than usual under those layers of make-up. They really laid it on thick this time and amped that contrast

He looks stupid. I know he is stupid, but looking stupid takes some effort

Yeah, can't imagine being there

This flip though is truly fantastic. The data on the massive senior shift was on the money. This is really happening. Yay!

Jr. was supposedly the only one among them who felt that way and that's pretty ironic considering how wiggy and drugged out he has been lately. Jared and Ivanka think they are playing parts in King Lear and want to extract every last grifting drop out of daddy
