MLB needs to pull some strings and get the Yankees to the ALCS
Bucks tricked me into being a diehard in 2001, LeBron is the 2nd best player ever, and pizza is awesome.

I'm guessing for the Houston rematch? Yea it would be good. However, it sure would be cool to see TB go through NY, Hous, LAD and win a title. Classic underdog situation with david taking down goliath. I know they have the best record, I mean in term of money and all that. And as WI fans gotta root for the small market and their unconventional pitching strategy that was basically first used by them and MKE due to not having the money to pay for pitching.
Resident Lillard truther since 2015.

Surprisingly, he is not as well liked as someone would expect here.
It may be that he plays a sport we don't care about, or the fact that he was raised abroad, bit IMO the biggest factor is that he seems to be a POS person who grew up in money

Not sure what i did, assuming I rolled on it or something, but I woke up to my phone screen being completely obliterated.
Guess phone shopping will be the theme for this beautiful weekend.

I don't know about any of his background/where he grew up or how. Surprises me a bit because, other than his spat with Medvedev (who isn't exactly level-headed), haven't heard much about him either positive or negative. So, interesting intel!
Swiatek swept Kenin this morning which could not make me more pleased. Cannot stand her and her crappy attitude.

Re: OT: General OT Thread [NO POLITICS OR RELIGION]
Had bad GI issues, like food poisoning earlier this week. Saw urgent care, where they asked if I wanted to get a COVID test. I declined at first, mostly because I didn't think I could be not near a bathroom for more than 30 min. A few days later, feeling a little better, I figured I might as well get tested, just in case, so I know to isolate. 3-5 day wait for test results!!! The urgent care receptionist told me that's calendar days, not business days, I hope she is right. Got it Thursday, so I hope I can get results tomorrow. But if it's business days, it won't be til next Wednesday at earliest. Yeesh.
Terrible, deadly, and embarrassing for the US that tests take that long. And never mind contact tracing. Other countries like Korea have free, immediate testing AND test-results for everyone--and we can see what it does for COVID #s and schools and businesses etc. in those countries. In the US, you have to be in the NBA bubble or play for the NFL to have that. Smh...

Skittles are all the same flavor. It's all in your mind that different colors are different flavors.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

It I have to blindfold myself and plug my nose to not be able to tell the difference in flavor, then I don’t care what they “actually” taste like. That’s not how I eat, so they taste different.

Just bought some Skittles out of curiosity. The green are green apple and awful. Go back to lime ****.

This is also bull. They pretty clearly have different flavors.

With all of this Skittle discussion I’m reminded of a video I saw recently and I want some opinions. I know Synesthesia is a thing, but I don’t think it works like this. I’m also just way too lazy to do the legwork and research this.

Maybe this is a thing, I dunno (hadn't heard of it before), but I believe this video exactly 0%. Seems staged and I don't trust there weren't shenanigans.

Yeah, it needed to be double-blind or the woman eating them needed to pick the pieces herself without looking.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.
