Because they play hard unlike the Rockets or Blazers and are lead by a two way guy again unlike any of the teams we have played. Joking and Murray ain’t playing D, they beating you with O. Westbrook and Harden, as well as CJ and Dame take zero pride in defense. Butler is giving them that effort on both ends and it’s hard for anyone else to not follow that.

Hell the lakers are proof of pit because when Lebron plays D everyone does

You gave up Ball who makes 9 mil and was god awful in the bubble. You gave up Ingram who made an all star team as an add on but was awful on d all year, didn’t win games, and came back to the bubble out of shape and you are going to have to max him this summer. You gave up Hart who had a worse year than Kuz. Hart and BI also have worse defensive numbers than Kuz.

They let Ingram, Ball, and Hart got but kept Kuzma, KCP, and Caruso three guys with worse numbers who cost less, know their roles, and play winning basketball

Yeah all the picks add up, as well as being his size and getting down in a stance to react to a small no matter how nimble he is.

Correct, there's almost no correlation between guarding the best player on the opposing team and injuries. The vast majority of injuries to players his size are in the lower extremities... going for a contested rebound, attempting to block a shot, a player landing at your ankle, etc.
