It was pretty obvious the Bulls were making the wrong decision when they traded him for the package they got, and that has been as close to proven true as you get in sports in the time since.

All we got was 3 mediocre prospects for Jimmy and a mid first. Don't ever forget that. ZERO high level prospects or assets for an excellent 2 way star player with multiple years left in a good contract in his prime, who loved playing in Chicago. Ultimate facepalm. Waaaaay too many people hold the attitude that for some reason trading him was necessary and that therefore we should have (and perhaps did?) trade him for the best package offered. That's NEVER the right logic.
