Dwight Howard finally wins a championship that he desperately needed for his legacy and personal success. I believe people respect how he handled himself after being unwanted because of his lack of maturity.

There were three basic themes to Lakers coverage in 2019-20.

1. Who is the better player: Lebron or Davis? (Lebron)
2. What will a 4th championship mean for Lebron's legacy? (Relatively little)
3. Player X not named Lebron nor Davis, is just so **** happy to be here. (Indeed they were)

Nah, he was a good insurance policy. It's the same way you feel like you overpay for car insurance if you don't get into an accident for 20 years. If we had some injuries to our wing players in the playoffs, having him out there for D and shooting would have been essential as opposed to givintoo many minutes to everyone else or playing someone like McGee more minutes and killing the Lakers D.

Harmon saw "LEGEND" flash briefly before his eyes and then he reverted to "FOX SPORTS" at the last moment. Pressure got to him. Picking the Nuggs showed he didn't watch a single RS head to head. That shows that his Conf Finals picks were unfortunately lucky mistakes. Sad.

I don't think it shows it was a mistake. Really the only team he under estimated grossly was the Lakers. The Heat Celtics was real close and if celtics face denver who knows in that scenario maybe celtics do win. I give him credit for his conference finals predictions there.

Same public sports talkin head entities have done this in prior years and also in other Laker title years, but man, this year had to be the very worst of it. They kept doing it at every possible turn from preseason, to RS, to bubble, to every consecutive series. All 4 of them, 8th seeded Blazers included! But I am glad to hear Simmons saying the Pels won the AD trade. You heard it there, RGM. I can now point to his paid brilliance on that subject the next time someone scoffs.

I hope it’s Lakers vs Celtics in the finals next season. I don’t see a bigger storyline when you combined both franchises history and the race to be the first team to win #18. Year #18 LeBron winning the Lakers their 18th championship would be an epic storyline.

How far into next season before the "LeBron has hit his cliff" takes? We always see them very early, people calling him slow and noticeably declined for the past 5 or so years. Then we have the people saying he is the best player in the playoffs still. Will this happen again or have people learned?

Wow, Jackie McMullen. I always liked her articles and stuff. But hey, she Hatin big time. Oddly though, the Old Man Ryan always gave props to the Lakers, and has even said, The Lakers have been the best for decades, and have been Far more relevant and better than the Celtics. And it's not even close.
