I'd agree with that, I don't think he has a leap to AD or even say Bam or KAT type level in there or anything. I'd take the improvement level to be more about learning the game more, how to win, doing the little things, rebounding physicalness, more focus on D in a championship environment, etc. Can't think of a good way to say it. But yea I'd agree he doesn't have a big jump in skill level left. But as you said, prime Ibaka is a solid fit next to Giannis. And he's signed and not going to be demanding a ridiculous max contract he's not worthy of next year or two. Heck, if we needed to use Brook's contract in a trade I'd gladly take current Ibaka for a year or two (cheap) to play 25 mins next to Giannis.

The Woj article suggests Morey could look for a job outside basketball.

Countdown has begun for Harden to want out imo.

By what day will we have "reports" that every team is planning to go ALL-IN on Giannis next offseason?

The guy that thought pairing Westbrook and Harden together was a good idea? No thanks.

Give Windy some time. He's a big guy, so writing takes a lot out of him.

Agreed. I dont want Stats Ball/D'antoni fingerprints. Has never won jack squat. Let him go geek up another franchise.

The Rockets are going to be so bad, guys. This clamoring for Morey is going to age as poorly as the remaining four years of Eric Gordon's contract.

I will always respect Morey for going for it during the GS dominance instead of waiting it out like the rest of the teams in the west.

Did you really just post a lineup with the starting 2 guard being JR Smith?

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

I actually think a competent coach and not the biggest gimmick of a coach could make them work.

Morey had a good run and it's not like I think he's a dolt, but those last 2 off-seasons in Houston were an absolute GM travesty. A superstar on the wrong side of 30 whose prime years may already be wasted, traded or swapped 4 of their next 5 first round picks, basically zero young player assets outside of House, and two aging, albatross contracts in Westbrook and Gordon. What a mess.

Hilarious. Thought that the Clippers and Nets were the biggest winners of last offseason, but now both are essentially letting their superstars run the organization. Better hope it pays off.

Not at all convinced that was a Morey driven decision.

Seems like the stage is set for JVG to become the Rockets coach. I think he could surprise people until the team burns out on him in 3 years.
