I'm not sure he changed his jumper, it's probably just the sideline angle that exposes how fugly his shot really is as opposed to the high angle cameras they use during games.

I remember same thing happened when Mikal workout videos came out, it looked like he changed his shot but it was just the angle exposing it

I actually can’t get over how his jump shot looks... completely different and not in a good way lol

Reminds me of the videos we saw with Mikal Bridges before the draft.

Mikal had a real hitch though. It wasn’t an angle exposing it. That’s why he only shot 33% from 3 last year. He worked on it and shot a lot better this season.

Oh I see now. He is way beyond the 3 point line (unless that's a high school gym)

The reason guys with low release have success shooting outside bombs from deep is because it's easier to get it off. Guys who shoot above their head like that require a great deal of strength to do it consistently. Vessell doesn't have the strength to shoot like he does from deep and usually guys don't. Unless you are like a 7 footer it's not easy to shoot outside shots like that and you better have some good deal of calf and core strength to do it consistently. Maybe that's it, maybe he's reaching back to get extra power on his shot. Maybe!
