I wish him the best. He had some of his best years as an NBA player in Toronto. He will always be loved and welcomed in Toronto.

I think Houston is a good destination for him. He gets reunited with Harden and Westbrook...and their offense at least under D'Antoni would have made him a perfect fit...however the fit now will depend on who the next coach is.

Almost certain he was hoping to get the security of one last contract, a 4 year deal for about $80 million is probably what he wants. And the Raptors have no desire to lock up long term money in him.

Someone mentioned in the replies the bio has always been like that. Just a sad rockets fan starting rumours.

Going to be really hard to sign free agents if border still closed and Raps don't have a home arena to play out of

Houston would be a perfect fit, but do they have the money?

He's a free agent lol relax.

It's in his own best interest to keep the Raps on their toes in order to get paid what he wants.

If he does leave if anything personally would make next season incredibly interesting because losing both our big men would pretty much force our management to become creative (fun to think who they might try to sign or trade for) and work on the inevitable retool/rebuild that is happening with the changing of the guard/older generation transitioning out.

I mean, he's in free agency. You wouldn't include info for a team you're no longer under contract to.

Welcome Trez
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Though i think this thread is ridiculous, i can't see any winning team offering more than we would.

[FAKE NEWS] Re: serge removes all raptors content on his social media

Post#20 » by fbalmeida » Fri Oct 16, 2020 1:41 pm

Fake news.

We're likely giving him a fantastic one year contract and likely letting him go in 2021. Unless he stays for a very low bill to play with Giannis.
