I've actually liked the playcalls, minus a few of those run plays. The offensive line is getting beat like a drum.

Patry, someone tell me how this team is better with Nagy as HC rather than someone like Fangio? If this is how its gonna be. Nagy has not shown he can coach offense. Or Pace cant stock offense. Lets just get a defensive guy in here and be a typical Bears team.

I don't know, they haven't been bad. Not great, but I don't think they had a 3 and out all half. Whereas with Mitch, that was a constant thing. At least Foles is moving the ball, which has kept Carolina in poor field position all game.

Foles only threw one bad pass all half, that should have been picked. That pass to Robinson near the goal line on 3rd down should have been a PI call and a first and goal.

The defense is giving up too many yards, although they have been great in the red zone. But they need to force some 3 and outs- they've been on the field too long.

Bears running game is disappointing, as normal. CAR does not have a good defense, yet we still can't run the ball.

I'd like to see us throw the ball down the field more in the second half. I think there are some big plays to be had.

I agree there. I think Nagy is forced to go with short passing, because they can't protect long enough for longer plays, and they can't run the ball either. Makes it tough to call plays.

The problem with signing a defensive HC we have to find a really good OC. And if we do he'll get a HC job so then we'll have to find and good HC. We'll either get a rotating door of OC because they'll get HC jobs or we'll be stuck with an average or bad OC. If we do bring a defensive guy I think we need to sign a OC that won't get HC offers because he was a bad HC. Todd Hayley and Pat Shurmur come to mind.

I think Special teams guys need more attention. They already have experience with both sides of the team. Basically have to run an offense and defense (return and coverage). Gary Kubiak might be ready to come back.

They need to attack Offensive line this offseason. They're getting violated by Carolina's backups. This is what happens when your line is made up of cast-offs, and 7th round picks.

I won't argue that short passing is needed due to poor oline play but look at the rams. Their short passing game is much better and they don't do anything fancy. its just a bunch of crossing routes and the move the ball better than almost any other team and they have a worse oline than us.

his redzone play calling is horrible. Always has been. Too often he play calls the offense out of rhythm. Not enough deep pass plays, which make it easier to defend the short passing game. and his run design doesn't do anything to help our already trash run offense. We can't finish every game with 18 points.

One of the main selling points of Nagy is supposed to be his creativity. He might have the most basic run game in the NFL. That'd be ok if you ran the ball like the titans but obviously we don't. Its just a handoff down the middle from singleback or a draw out of shotgun. Easy to defend when you have an average run game.

That's the kind of mistake the Bears aren't talented enough to afford to make. You are gifted the ball inside the 30. Just move the ball, at worst you come away with 3 points and a 16-6 lead. Beyond idiotic. Just no excuse from a veteran qb to throw that kind of ball.
