You can tell that the team has a better front office with how much more work they put in for the draft. We aren't just looking at guys projected to be available where we pick. We're looking at guys like Nesmith, Mane, Petrusev, Achiuwa, etc. in addition to Hayes, Edwards, and the others. So if a trade offer comes we'll be prepared to judge the value and pivot instead of being caught flat footed.

It's a big improvement over the days of trading a 1st for a bench player and then holding a press conference while the draft was still happening.

This. There's absolutely no excuse for not being ready. That's the bull **** reason our last FO gave for turning down the 4 late 1sts to draft Frank, disregarding the possibility of Frank himself potentially being available with one of the picks Boston offered us.

New article talking about how high the Warriors are on both Wiseman and Edwards (It's a beat writer this team @Ichiro)

Most interesting take away is that Edwards might only be 6'3. That's the shortest I've seen him listed. Makes me less bullish on him overall.

Not really stressing the Hornets situation or the stigma of a top 3 pick having to be a star player. Here is my top 10.

1. Edwards
2. Ball
3. Deni
4. Wiseman
5. Vassell
6. Okongwu
7. Saddiq Bey
8. Hayes
9. Toppin
10. Halliburton

I've always seen 6'5. I thought he'd be able to play the 3

What? He really would be Dion Waiters 2.0.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

This is such a deep draft that here is another player I would consider at 56. Well not really since we already are deep at PG. I have not seen him in any mocks and imo he can be a solid PG. Only 6 feet and 23 years old so maybe thats why.

Shoutout to Vanderbilt Grad as well for having such a HIGH B-BALL IQ in realizing that Saddiq Bey is a good player.

Who is reporting that? Or that just draft speculation?

It's based on listed measurements on nba.com

Worth noting as its new and the only place where he is listed that small.

I know the NBA started listing everyone's height without shoes. Did college basketball ever switch over to shoeless heights? Are we going to start seeing every draft prospect's height drop an inch or two?

Can't have it both ways. Either they're high on Avdija and not high on Wiseman or they're setting a smokescreen that they're high on both. If they're setting a smokescreen then why this?

Warrior fan dropping by....

Agree. It makes no sense for the Warriors to hype up Deni or other guys that aren't considered top 2 or 3 IF they plan on trading out of the #2 pick. No sense.

Nationally it's easy to say "doh...Warriors need a big guy". Warriors KNOW that the modern NBA and the key to their 5 finals runs was the versatile SF/PF combination. Small Ball, Death Lineup - that had nothing to do with a lumbering 7' rookie that can't guard your mother (or mine) on the outside. Wiseman, IMO, is the most attractive bust since Anthony Bennet.

IMO, Warriors will attempt to trade out of 2 to 3 - 5 and take Toppin. I like the trade with Chicago getting Wendel Carter Junior and their pick for the move up.

BTW, the only player Warriors have said nothing about (as far as I know) is Toppin. Now THAT makes more sense - Warriors are talking up Deni and other's in Toppin's area so they can get Toppin if the Warriors trade down to 5-6.

Or any Australian prospect!!

Some of these drills they have prospects do for the Australian league draft combine seem kind of strange to me.
