The ruling hasn't been made on their suit yet and if the conservative judges agree with the conservative party suing then 100k+ ballots get thrown out, it may even be closer to a quarter million ballots by the time election day comes and that decides the winner in Texas depending on this ruling.

I added this to my previous post, but these numbers look good.

In 2016 1,312,112 voted in Harris County. As of today 1,271,975 have already voted in the county out of 2.4 million registered voters. Of that total, only 162,950 are by mail. They can try, but the margins are already showing some bad signs for them.

What do they mean 'by mail' though? ones with a post mark in the envelope are by mail but the ones dropped off at drop boxes and have no post mark are not?

Still if the judge rules in the GOP favor regarding those dropped off at the drive through polling places then the GOP will use that ruling to throw out every ballot that was cast that way in the state.

As I read more, there is a difference between the drop off boxes which are counted as mail and the drive thru ballots. However, the court ruling on the drop off boxes (1 per county) was based on the fact that Texas provided other ways to vote and "did not disenfranchise voters". It also allowed the drive thru voting just in Harris county. I mean conservative judges can be crooked, but the legal gymnastics that would be used to backtrack on something like this would be damn near criminal. I wish they would. That voter backlash would be more viscous than the one they are getting right now.

Just like his whole life he inherited a good situation and proceeded to blow it up with terrible decisions and bad business acumen.

Obama inherited a crashed economy yet the stock market increased in percentage more in his first three years than it did under Trump's first three years.

Obama created more jobs in his final three years than Trump in his first three years, that was before the pandemic, Trump has lost all the jobs he created and some of Obama's.

Job growth slowed under Trump and one third of all counties in the US lost wealth under Trump.

It's like he walked up to an already existing campfire he didn't build and threw gas on it, tax breaks for the rich and corporations, which burned very hot for a short time but then burned down the forest.

That is Trump's term and pretty much his whole life's pattern.

And 40% of the country believes him despite watching it with their own eyes.

the fact that 40% of Americans are that stupid scares me allot. If they cant believe the facts and vote on those then please dont allow them to screw me

I read part of this but I need to ask what the article is based on? what emails? the ones from the post that most news outlets wont cover because there is no proof or meta data supporting the email? Or a screen shot of conversation with no names on it and again no factual proof.

Here is the rub, everyone is entitled to their own believes and those beliefs should be protected. but when reporting you can report your beliefs but you need to be careful to cite facts. Maybe the article written that they would not publish opened them up to some sort of liability or maybe they dont want to publish some articles based on data or evidence that can not be confirmed as true.

That in a nutshell is the issue people believe everything they read on the net and it must be true right? Wrong people have a responsibility before your beliefs is to base everything on the truth. Everything based on the emails from the post can not be proven but meanwhile we have over 25k dead Americans, a huge deficit, a president who wont trust science, A president who has lied to America more then 20 k, A president that paid more in taxes to China then to the country he is the leader of?

Conservative or liberal the above is what should bother you more the unproven emails, then throw in the racial tension he has caused and that is the tipping point for most people. He is not a good president he has not more for minorities then Lincoln he has not done more then other president, there is no secret health plan, he gave a tax break for the rich while middle and lower classes are paying the burden for this country.

That is not right, yes taxes will go up under biden if you make more then 400k a yr then you might pay more in payroll tax but someone needs to pay for trumps horrid deals

Texas GOP controlled state elections decided to limit polling places to one per county that includes the one that Houston population +4mil is in, Harris I believe it's called and they gave one single drive through lane for people to drop them off.

Then they turn around to turn around and sue to get them thrown out because they are 'curb side service' that they say is only meant for disabled and sick(um..pandemic?) but weren't they the ones who offered that limited ability to drop off ballots?

If that isn't an election fraud I don't know what is, create hoop to jump through to vote then want to throw out ballots because they jumped through the hoop. The judge should put block them from contesting anything again regarding this election cycle.

What all of these attempts to sabotage the election have done is inspire people to show up for early voting to lock in their vote

If anything, the GOP's attempts to undermine the election is hurting their chances of winning. The GOP sabotaged their chances and put a target on themselves by basically egging on people to vote early and to vote them out

Same thing with the mail ballot BS. It probably actually ends up hurting the GOP more, because

(a) more people are skipping the mail and locking in their votes in person,

(b) more people are putting their ballots in secure lock boxes instead of using the mail service,

(c) democrats use mail-in ballots more and Trump basically discouraged his followers from using the mail, which was a mistake, because it fails to lock in GOP votes too and,

(d) it completely relies on GOP turnout on November 3rd to be competitive

What this means is while Trump could have secured recorded votes for himself in the past weeks he was busy setting himself on fire and giving Republicans more time to find reasons to NOT vote for him or to stay at home on election day

I'd say everything about Trump and the GOP's efforts to sabotage the election is probably costing them more votes than if they had just STFU, behaved like law abiding public servants and campaigned about something other than dumbass conspiracy theories.

It is an epic fail and why I'm not preparing for the worst. This is going to be a landslide, particularly because these pricks tried so hard to sabotage the vote, not in spite of it

I can't believe any polls, nor exit polls because methodology changes the results and at this point I'm not sure I can even believe ballot counts in any state the Reps have any control over the state's election process. They have proven to be cheaters and liars in every way possible.

Your concerns aside, the massive increase in early voting turn-out is not conjectural though, it's a fact. That turn-out is not randomly favorable to either party. It is decisively a wave of blue voters. Not saying there can't be complications due to procedure, but the implications of the turn-out are pretty clear

Iam not taking anything for granted or thinking it’s in the bag but at the same time the polls are much more in Biden’s favor then Hillary’s.

People forget after that comey thing dropped the polls became 50/50.

I think Trump would need something huge to happen to turn things around at this point.

It's a bit late for some huge "October Surprise" at this point. Trump would have to rip off Biden's head on live TV and reveal that he's an alien to turn the tides now. And even then it's too late since millions of people have already voted.

It’s not really 40% of the country. Most likely low 30’s of voting public and add 10% who are just hyper partisan which should still be scary, but literally these people don’t live in reality because of massive amounts of propaganda, misinformation and Fox News.

Glenn Greenwald is throwing a temper tantrum because he went all in on the wrong side of the Mueller report and instead of admitting that he was wrong he just dug in deeper to the point where he’s trying to report unsubstantiated misinformation without researching it himself. How hard is it to reach out to Rudy and try to substantiate their own reporting. Last I checked the Intercept doesn’t bill itself as tabloid, I have no idea why they’d want to run a Rudy smear campaign. When Medhi Hasan calls you out on your ****, you’ve really lost your way.
