Not a bad deal. The options from best to worst are
get a star> trade down> pick edwards at 2> pick another top prospect > ball at 2 (this is the only option which is unacceptable for me).

oubre is a 1 year rental. as it has been pointed out, he's looking for a big pay raise at the end of next season that dubs cannot give him. it would be an idiotic move. the last thing we want is trading assets for 1 year rental.

Re: 2020 Draft Thread, Part 2
A deal with the Hawks has been rumored for a very long time. From fans to media a ton of people have speculated #2 for Heurter and #6.
The Suns being added to it is interesting and I also read that on another site as well.
Heurter is built a lot like Klay and is a good shooter, but he has been injury prone since getting into the League. I’d need Medicals on him if I’m the Warriors.
Wouldn’t Oubre require using the TPE? Is so, that kills some of the value for me.
At 10, I’m hoping for Haliburton, P Will, Nesmith, Poku, Hayes, Etc. It would be a dream to grab Okoro there, but he’s most likely gone like Okungwu and Vassell.
I would prefer leaving Phoenix out of it.
Let me grab Heurter if healthy, and Vassell, Okoro, Haliburton, or Okungwu with number 6.
Then I will use the TPE separately, probably absorb 2 players versus using it on just one guy.
Then I’m going full court hard press on Ibaka with the MLE. Mostly because the Lakers are going after him with the same MLE. Wouldn’t be surprised if Houston tries the same thing for Ibaka.
If the Lakers get Ibaka then just forget about it. It’s over.

We'd be giving up #2, Poole and TPE for a 1 year rental on Oubre, Heurter and #10 that's better than most trade down options that have been discussed outside of people's dreams of someone including a future first.

I like Oubre, but for all intensive purposes, he will be a one year rental.

What a chicken little. Someone doesn't like a trade idea that you do, so you throw your dummy out of your pram and run. Talk about thin skin, run off and hide then.

And all three teams are pretty close to an agreement on.
Hawks would get #2 overall and Ty Jerome (as backup PG). ONLY If Anthony Edwards is there!
Warriors get Oubre, KHuerter and #10. Makes sense for GS as they're in a win now mode. Steph/Klay/Oubre/Green is dangerous and Wiggins as 6th man
Suns get #6 and Jordan Poole. Got a bad feeling about this... They've been rumored to really like Kira.(I'm about to cry, lol)
That would be a great trade for us. We get 2 wings and 10! The. We could take tyrell terry at 10.
Curry/terry
Klay/heurter
Wiggins/Oubre
Green/pascal
Mle/Chriss/Looney
That would be amazing. Or vassell, okoro, or Williams could be there as well.
Top 11 in no order
Wiseman
Edwards
Deni
Oo
Halliburton
Ball
Okoro
Vassell
Williams
Toppin
Hayes
I kind of agree with this, but have to chuckle that the guy you suggest taking at 10 isn’t listed in your top-11......
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

So you turn #2 into a one year rental and the #10 pick which will more than likely be a role player? How is that good value for the pick?Little Digger wrote:Picking at 10 would bring in a load of possibilities..I see the kid from Alabama maybe moving into the top 10

Re: 2020 Draft Thread, Part 2
we get two solid rotation players that fit our style , for our run at title #5..and then we also get the 10th pick and just maybe the warriors target players are not the one’s the silly internet sites have at the top of the draftnorthoakland510 wrote:So you turn #2 into a one year rental and the #10 pick which will more than likely be a role player? Anyway that’s how I see it..I’m not a fan of picking at 2 and not building up depth that comes with a trade like this
I don’t believe in Edwards or Wiseman anymore than I do Vassell, Williams etc
