Milwaukee, Brooklyn, Boston, Toronto, Indiana and Philly all would still be on a similar level to us. So you're probably still looking at a 4-5 seed.
Now, if we can add Beal PLUS maintain Giannis flexibility, well....that's different. You have to look at that.
This is why our play should be trading for Oladipo some time this year and try to convince him to take a short term “prove it” type deal with player options with a salary that fits with Giannis’ starting salary. Essentially, go for poor mans Beal instead which would result in trading fewer assets than it would for Beal, and then go after Giannis next offseason with a few more of our youngins still in tow. VO can still be a decent scorer and defender at worse, to fill the 4th option role behind Jimmy, Giannis, and Bam. If we can still have one or 2 of Herro and/or Duncan, that would be the icing.
