This makes a lot of sense. RoLo probably didn't want to go to Sacramento. Figured he's made enough cash already to pick where he wants to play next year.

DJ isn't committed to being the best DJ, no real loss.

Run it back to the old but still new days. Sign MCW and Delly.

I'm a Brogdon fan but Bogdan is a much better player as the fourth best option. Also I might say Jrue >>> Bled. We now have two backcourt players that can create off the dribble, pass really well and very importantly, are willing to take and make shots off the dribble.

Give the front office credit for a clever backcourt pairing. Yes, they needed a fast twitch bomber more than Donte at this point.

Good trade but the starting lineup does still have a hole: shooting. 3 inconsistent-bad shooters in there

Yep. I think bogdan can be like a 6th man if you can replace him in the starting 5 with really good shooter ala duncan robinson.

Based off percentages or what? I suspect playoff teams won't be leaving Middleton, Holiday or Bogdanovic open for threes which matters more than raw percentages. The trick now is that if you close out on them, they can make plays. Lopez didn't shoot well in the regular season but I've got confidence in Brook in the playoffs to make enough.

Justin James the final missing piece we needed. Horst working the magic. /green

But seriously, this is the most amazing offseason that i can recall following this team. We're already regular season champs, and we've upgraded with an eye on the finals. Depth an issue, but that will be filled with solid vet ring chasers.

Also bummed to be losing DDV.

Lopez needs to be better for sure. But the spacing is definitely there. Jrue shot 36.4% on 140 catch-and-shoot 3's last season. I wouldn't call that bad

Do think it is important to note that we just traded three #1's and two pick swaps. This was on top of also owing Cleveland likely the 2022 #1 (Hill trade). And we don't have our organic pick #30 this week as final payment on the Bledsoe swap.

So with Hill and Bledsoe going out, we basically spent five first rounders and two pick swaps in a matter of an hour.

Not arguing against the moves. So far the plan seems workable. But it wasn't like Jrue and Bogdanovic fell out of the sky.
