Prime Ersan would be awesome on this team in Brook's spot.

In the same way Orlando did this year. Fell in.

The option is picked up the second he’s traded, so he gets the full seven million. Emuney mentioned that Ersan isn’t going to fall victim to the “can’t return to the team that traded you for a full year” and would be free to come back right away, but I didn’t fully understand the reasoning. Something to do with the timing of the trade.

It's truly remarkable that Arsen has stuck around as long as he has. He's the rare non HOF bound big man in this era to play deep into his 30's. I suspect he still has two years left in him as a regular season player. Shame he can't really hang in the playoffs anymore. Even so, it's a credit to Arsen that he went maxed out his savant knowledge of rebounding and drawing charges to become more than your average stretch 4.

Ilgauskas Rule. He can’t play here for a full year unless he gets traded to or otherwise plays for a third team first. Or I suppose if he would get traded back to us.

ETA My bad, I didn’t fully read Chuck’s post about Em verifying it doesn’t apply somehow.

This thread needs to be numbered... Appreciation thread #4, 5? Heck I can't keep up.

Ersan will be missed, again. Getting a bit too old for another stint with the Bucks but maybe just maybe they cut him and we pick him up.....ha no clue if that's even legal but I would love it.

Disney needs to remake the movie where the two dogs and the cat cross the country to find their owners. But instead of talking animals, its Ersan and his family fighting bears, evading dog catchers, and of course wandering in to training camp just in time for pre season.
