To understand why, you have to understand how Rox operates.

In the Rox or Morey universe, guys like dinwiddie or LeVert have no value.

They are only interested in top end talents and role players.

If Rox do the trade, they can tank one season. Have Lavine, a top 3 pick, cap space and a couple of first (our pick, roco trade and likely RW trade).

That’s a quick turnaround.

LaVine is not a top end talent. If he was, you wouldn't get him (and Porter) for Tobias + scraps

How is Lavine even much better than Lavert alone? They are pretty much the same age and put up very similar stats.

LaVine is a better shooter and doesn’t get injured every 5 minutes. Clearly more valuable than Levert.

Lavine can and has the best upside than Lavert and Dinwiddie combined.

Dinwiddie is a low % scorer while Lavert is a ticking time bomb, his injuries makes Biid look like AC Green.

Sorry not familiar with the rules. May i know why? How long should we wait?

If we dont need to wait, what do you think of the trade?

I think more that he's missed a ton of games to injury the past two seasons than he's regressed. If he could stay healthy he's a very good role player. Solid defense and 40% career three point shooter on decent volume

Yes, I don't understand this either. Wasn't he just traded to us as part of a package?

That’s why they waited and turned it into a 3 team deal

The Schroder-Green trade is already official in NBA.com but the Green-Horford trade is not yet there. So it is not a 3-team trade. I think the rule is you can trade the players you receive but you cannot package them with other players already in your team.

Edit: But the OKC attached Ferguson so maybe you can package additional players in the offseason and the 60-day waiting period is only applicable when the player is traded after the season already started.

So the trade becomes official on December 8th, and then the Sixers have to wait to move either Green or Ferguson in other package deals for 19 days or something like that.

You could just find something else in the meantime and combine the deals, which feels more advantageous.

How about Maxey?
