Flat-out amazed that Woj et al hasn't been cranking out new tweets at least every other hour over the last 24.
The relative silence is almost eerie when you compare to what routinely goes on in the 24 hours prior to the trade deadline.

With all that new interiors rotation, if all players show their potential but that for any reason it's not the percect fit for ATL, it can meanwhile be the perfect pieces to build a trade for Gobert

Nobody tell graymule that Skal isn’t getting picked up.
Our big man rotation tells me we really gotta be locked in on getting some shooters.
Also Bembry

There still seems to be some interest in bringing back Skal. His caphold is $7 million if he wasn't renounced, his QO is $3.4 mill. My guess is the Hawks use all their capspace first and can resign Skal, if that is the direction, using a portion of the $4.7 million Room Exception.

I have a hard time believing Capela and/or Dedmon won’t be moved for a wing.

Dedmon most likely

I would love if someone could share a good explanation of our cap situation. It looks like we didn't extend offers to many of our restricted free agents, but I think Goodwin might have gotten one. Not sure. What does our current roster look like and how much do we have to spend?

9 players under contract (including Okungwu). Having declined options on all FAs and RFAs, we have approx. $42 million capspace to spend on trades and FAs.

Not much, all three players contracts expire. Wonder if we keep them or swing. Thomas was an interesting prospect a few years back. Snell seemed like a decent role player to me. Not the sexiest of trades.

Detroit got the better player, but we were wanting to move on from DD. Snell and Thomas can be fine insurance policies in case someone gets hurt. They will probably be the 11th and 12th men. Not good, not bad, more meh... Looking forward to tomorrow!
This trade did get us out of having to pay DD $1m next year to let him walk.

Thought so. Snell thinking is he’s a good role player at backup SF and wouldn’t threaten Hunter for it. We got Trae, filling pieces. Apparently with a cheap approach. I don’t care we got the draft right. We shall see.

Snell looks like a buyout candidate if the ATL wing youth steps up and starts needing more mins to develop.
Not sure why DET is taking on Dedmon's 2 years. Does he have some sort of option or buyout on year 2?

So we loose $509,000 of cap room this season, but get $13,333,333 more room in 2021
Not sure if Snell is supposed to stay, and if not, he will be easier to trade than Dedmon being on an expiring contract

$1 mil guaranteed next year, it's a very neutral trade salary wise
If Snell is kept he replaces Bembry on the bench who cant shoot a lick. Snell at least shot 40% from 3 last year.

I don’t really want either or Hayward. None of them sound good. Hope we don’t do any of this.
