Reminds me a lot of the desperation with the 09 and 10 Cavs team building.

IMHO the Heat were nowhere near championship level last year. You all peaked and were playing brilliantly at just the right time. You also excelled in the bubble. I think next season is going to be a rude awakening. Love Bam and how you’ve developed him, though.

The Bucks have arguably the best starting 5 in the league now.

This makes me feel better if the Heat don't end up making any major moves tomorrow or beyond. Hopefully the Nets/Harden situation also blows up.

Giannis dream is back baby.

Bucks front office total shambles

So, does the 30 and over crowd in Golden State become available with Klay out the season? They can't even be sure how good Klay will be when he comes back next year after 2 huge injuries while being 31 next season. It's just a horrible situation for them.

They currently have a core of Curry, Green, Wiggins, Wiseman, Paschall which is probably good enough to make the playoffs but with Curry is currently 32 and Green is 30, should they consider moving them before their value drops more? If they go with a rebuild now, their pick next year and the year after should be very high and they also still have Minnesota's probable lottery bound pick next season.

GSW is still a fringe playoff team even with Oubre. Glad they aren't punting on Chief's good years

I mean, he ain't no Klay Thompson, but if it's for minimal compensation Oubre is a good pickup for them.

Curry
Oubre
Wiggins
Green
Wiseman

?

I dunno man, Chef gonna have to wind back the clock bigtime on that one.

LMAO @ ? Wilts

That's one random poopy lineup. Wiggins just does not belong in a contender and we know that Green will lose his chit constantly with shenanigans outside of Curry. I don't think they're done making moves as they should not.

They would lucky if Wiseman is not a huge negative in his first year. Oubre and Wigs is like whatever and they are balls deep into the tax. That's a lottery team, most likely

Curry has never made it to the playoffs without another all-star on the roster.

Not looking too likely right now either. LAL, LAC, DEN, UTAH, DAL should all finish with better records, and teams like Portland, Memphis, Phoenix, Spurs (depending on what they do) and Houston (also depending on what they do) will be fighting for those last 3 seeds. GS has their work cut out for them.. won’t be easy at all

Because apparently the Knicks are even crazier.

So with Hayward opting out of his contract the Celtics have gotten worse right? I know it was a rough contract and he was always injured but unless they re-sign him they ended up losing him for nothing.

It’s not like they can use that money on someone else right?

I like your optimism Wilt but I don't but it. Green is washed, Wiggins (eww), Wiseman (rookie who got dropped from his college team), Oubre (kelly), and Curry (front runner).

Not buying it, don't see how they're better than the Suns with CP3 and even if they are I definitely don't see them being a real player in the west. We'll see though assuming Steph doesn't fake an injury again.

LeBron would get them to the playoffs. Shows how misguided that Steph >>> LeBron talk was back in 2016. I was unfortunately on the wrong side of that argument. In my defense LeBron had just left us high and dry

You're comparing apples to oranges. We weren't supposed to be a championship team last season. We entered the season hoping to win 48 games and make it to the second round in year one of the Jimmy era. You guys were the team that was on pace to win 70 games and be one of the greatest teams ever before collapsing in the playoffs.

Yeah, I dunno QUIZ - tbh I wasn't being overly optimistic, more just saying they could do worse in acquiring a guy like Oubre for free.

Without Klay though this team is cooked as a contender. Wiseman would have to be an instant Embiid like big to give them even a punters chance.
